Before Luna could do anything, the wolf ran away, making her confused. She doesn't know what just happened and why the wolf even saved her or even left without doing anything.
She let out a sigh, got up from the grass, and turned in the direction the wolf ran, but it was nowhere to be seen.
"Princess!" She turned to look the other way when she heard Lyra, who was almost running towards her, saying, "Princess, what are you doing there?".
"I... I just came here for some fresh air," Luna said with a smile, hoping she didn't see me with that big wolf.
"So why are you wet? Did you fall in that river? Oh god! Are you okay?" Lyra's voice filled with worry as her eyes traveled Luna's body, checking for any hurt.
"No, no, no, I am good; I just found us an unlimited water," Luna said with a smile, showing her the river, trying to make Lyra forget about this.
"Oh, that's good! But come on, we have to go before you catch cold! This is not the human world and no one will care about you if you are sick" Lyra replies strictly like an older sister and held Luna's hand, walking away from the river and to their new abandoned palace.
As soon as they reached, Luna's eyes widened a little, seeing the facade cleaner then before and then she turned to ask Lyra in shock, "What happened here? When did you guys clean here?".
"It is not yet clean; we will start that process tomorrow. Just remove all those words and broken things," she let out a sigh, still not satisfied with the palace.
"Kiros is a great help; I don't think we could have done it if it weren't for Kiros" Luna said with a smile, still impressed with his power and how fast he could do work.
"But I still don't trust him," she says, turning to me.
"Why? Is it because he is half wolf?" Luna's eyes flicker in confusion, and she stops on the way, turning to look at Lyra.
"I can't even wrap my head around the things he told; how could these people allow a wolf to take a human here? Don't wolves hate humans and look down on us? Then how the hell did his wolf father fall in love with his human mother? How did things change and why is he in the palace? Like in the palace?" Lyra placed her side of the doubts and the worries she has on him even though he only helped them.
Luna nods her head a little as the thoughts of Lyra's words create confusion, saying, "Yes, you are right, but didn't he say that his father is someone powerful so he is in the palace as a slave? And I don't get any bad feelings like I got with all the other werewolves." then she shook my head and taking that back continued, "But anyway, keep an eye on him".
Lyra nods her head before they both goes back in, and see Kiros doing something in the kitchen.
Both of them looked at each other before going inside the kitchen as Luna asked in confusion, "What are you doing, Kiros?".
"Oh, princess," he bows a little with a huge smile on his face before showing them all the things he found in the kitchen and says in excitement, "here princess, look what I found! All these things can help us cook, and don't worry about the chef; I am good at cooking too.".
Luna's lips curled into a smile as she looked at all the things and then back at the excited Kiros, who is still cleaning the dishes using his magic.
"Wow! Thank you so much for the help, Kiros. We don't know what we could have done if it weren't for you." She genuinely felt good seeing him do all these things and couldn't doubt him as Lyra so she walked to him with a huge smile on her face as she said those words.
His eyes widens a little and then he shakes his head and kneels down, saying, "Princess, you are my master and you are not suppose to say those words to your slave! Please don't ever thank me for the works that I am bound to do.".
She can see the sincerity in his voice and action and it pains to not trust him fully but in her situation, she can't trust anyone.
At least she thought of treating him kindly rather than like a real servant, even though she doesn't know how things are done here. She let out a sigh and made him stand up, saying, "I don't know about the rules and regulations of this palace but I don't want you to think that you are slave! Just let that go, okay?".
He was shocked but nodded his head with a huge smile like a little kid, saying, "yes, princess.".
"Okay, let's prepare for the lunch; I am so hungry," Luna says, turning to Lyra, who is still looking at him with suspicion but shook her head a little and nodded at Luna.
"I will prepare the lunch, Princess," she said with a smile, bowing a little.
"But we don't have any ingredients for the dinner" Kiros says, looking at the empty kitchen and then back to Lyra, who just realized that.
"Don't worry, just wait a few minutes, let me bring it from the main kitchen, princess," he said with a small smile, hurrying out but Lyra followed him, saying, "let me come with you! I need to see what you get!".
Luna shook her head at the sigh and her lips curled into a small smile, thinking, "I don't think this life is going to be as bad as I thought".
Then she walks back to her room, which gives her direct access to view the green land through the huge window.
Her heart skipped a beat as the memories of that big wolf flowed back into her head. Her body trembled in fear but she shook her head to remove those thoughts.
