"She is your mate! She is our mate!" A voice in his head kept repeating the same sentence, making his heart skip a beat as those feeling and memories coming back to him just like it is happening again.
"That is impossible! Everyone know! Even the low life knows that an Alpha King can never have a mate! Then how the hell is that possible! How did we get a mate?" He almost shouted in anger, frustration and a hint of fear mixed with the beautiful feeling that he felt when he was a wolf.
"Even I don't know what is going on but I am sure that she is our mate! A mate sent down to us by our Moon Goddess!" The wolf in his head shouted in excitement and the happiness of finally finding their soul mate like he always wanted to.
"But doesn't it mean that I am not a Alpha King! As far as the curse, if I wanted to be a Alpha King then I will never have a mate?!" He almost shouted in frustration, unable to wrap his head around the fact of finding his mate.
"You did saw Moon Goddess! She made you an Alpha King! You are the Alpha King! There is something wrong in this, we need to find! You are Alpha King who got a mate" the wolf in his head replied, trying to calm him down. Everything feels like mess and they didn't understand the context of what's going on because no one, not even one person in his life ever told him about the mate.
"Wait…" Arkonios (Alpha King) whispers, his eyes widened as he remembered something about his mate, something that didn't sit right and now he found out why? What the hell was going on!
"She is not a werewolf! She is a human! She is a fucking Human!" His says through his clinched teeth while he closes his eyes in anger as he felt degraded to find a human.
He has always look down on them like a low life and never liked to even associate with them and the only reason he married the princess of the human world is because of the bad reputation of a stronger race bullying the weaker one aka a werewolves bullying the human.
"So the curse is me getting a human as a mate?!" He asks, still can't believe that he got a human mate.
"I think you need to explore more in this curse thing, a human or another spices can never be mate to a werewolf. It just destroys the balance of the nature" His wolf Alaric replied, feeling frustrated because he is so attached with his mate but at the same time, he hates to even think his mate is a human.
"Fine!" He says, letting out a sigh and then walks to the bookshelf, continuing, "I will never accept that low life human as my mate!".
He started to read through all the books that is left behind by late Alpha Kings, that's the only way he can find the source because he don't want anyone, not even his own mother to know about this as he feel too ashamed to have a human as mate.
"Think, at least she is a princess of those low lives, and you got a better one" His wolf Alaric says, trying to make his mood a little better as they see through all those books where they couldn't find anything about human mates or even related to a human.
"Why the hell didn't they write anything about those low lives that will cross our paths as a mate were we couldn't do anything to avoid it?" He throw the book in frustration while the memories of Luna played on the back of his head and he couldn't resist the feeling to going back to see her.
"I know how you feel but this is not the time to lose your mind like this! I never saw you like this and that low life shouldn't have the power to do that too!" His wolf tries to calm him down, even though he is angry.
"Fine" he says, letting out a sigh, trying to block the memories that are still playing in the back of his head.
"I think I have to find another way to throw away this crazy feeling!" He says before walking back to his desk, trying to focus on his work and forget about his new found human mate.
Time passes and he slowly focus on the work as the memories keeps disappearing little by little until someone knocks on the door.
"Who is it?" He asks without raising his head, still focusing on the bunch of things that he need to do.
"It's Thalia, Your highness Alpha King" A voice from the other side of the door came, making him raise his head to look before saying, "Come in, Thalia".
The Queen walks in, holding on the jewel on her hand and looks at him with a smile, saying, "I came here to inform you about the human princess, and you need to spend your night with her to make your wife".
"Oh" He says, as the memories gets back again, making his heart skip a beat just like the way he felt when he saw her for the first time.
"So be ready and finish your before night and take her as your wife" She said with a smile, placing the jewel on the table and then looks up at him with a smile, saying, "She looks pretty".
"Why do you look so pressed, Thalia? This is how you looked the first 2 times and then you got used to it because you finally realized that I am, as a Alpha King should marry other women" He says confused as he can tell that she looks different this time, so he gave his hand to her.
She took it with a sigh but she doesn't want to tell him the real reason so she smiled, kissing his cheeks, saying "No… this is the last time you will ever marry and I am glad that you will be mine again".
"Yours? When did I become yours?" He asks with a smile, jokingly.
