Vroom!
Attracting the attention of everyone present.
About ten Τια powered off-road vehicles plated with thick carapace and 2 meters in height pulled to a stop on barren terrain, before the gathered crowd.
In contrast, the gathered crowd in the center of a wilderness, with anticipating lit eyes of nervous youths looked incredulous and out of reason.
Far off into the distance, about a few kilometers away. A towering, gigantic city of inconceivable size from tales, hovered in the air. Casting a thick shadow over the barren expanse, and the gathered crowd.
Vroom! The thick thunderous hum came again, signifying the last of the off-road vehicles to have turned off its engine. Albeit leaving their lights on to illuminate the crowd under the vast shadow from all sides.
Dum!
As usual, and for the fourth time, the sound of the new group descending, came again.
A silent, organized row of youths alighting as they joined the crowd in an orderly manner, their faces flushed in excitement and nervousness like every other youth gathered here, except Flynn of course.
Slightly raising the bridge of his glasses he expressionlessly observed the new group, supposedly from the Imperial Highschool, West of Death Singer City.
Imperial, Eton, Riverside, Oak, and Fortunate Royals, of which he was from.
West, East, North, Central and South were all gathered here. Unanimously without each trying to prove they had higher ground than the other.
Who could have imagined.
Both Flynn and every other had been placed into this reality without being able to voice out an opposition.
Before a Will Bearer, or Bearer in short, they were just a group of insolent weak youths.
And that being said, most were just a few years older than even.
Well, apart from the veterans who acted casually and strict, No contempt in their steps but their movement alone enabled someone with a visualization of the tremendous might and Wills they carried.
As for why they had all been brought out into the wilderness…
"Alright Kids, buckle up and listen." Hindering Flynn's observation, a thick cold voice broke the silence , earning the attention of every youth present.
Appearing to be in his mid thirties, mid built. The man roughly pulled off his tie to reveal the lit bit of armoured plate beneath before turning towards the opposite side, far across the distant plane to the sharply contrasting view of greenery beyond it.
"For the past years…"
"... Fuck"
" Whatever you've been taught won't really help in where you'll be sent to..."
" A fragment of the past which you can not change."
"... Instead it's the created memories during those times."
"There's nothing there for you in the past, therefore trapped not by it and think of your cherished family, friends, and those awaiting your return."
"Fuck"
Turning to face the crowd as if totally vexed by the tone he had just used, the mid built man, Instructor Damian, rested both arms on his sides with a plain forced smile.
"On a simple term the key to surpassing the past is the past you've shared with your friends or whatever good or bad memory you have of our current era… though much more complicated. You are not to forget who you are while faced with the allure and sentimental feeling of the past."
" Your current and foremost mission is to conquer and Inherit their Will."
Then pausing…
"We wait"
Seemingly infuriated by something, the mid built man roughed his hair then completely took off his suit, before leaping to seat on the plated burnet of the off-road vehicle with swift movement.
Whilst, as the atmosphere receded into bustling silence, Flynn found himself raising the bridge of his glasses once more as he observed those around him with interest. Sure enough, even the most aloof of them all could not hide their anticipation and nervousness.
While he only waited four months to this day, some had waited a year and the most being four years. The Transmigration which only took place once every five years after mankind fell to its own accumulated doom through the years.
And behold not by the judgement day, alien invasion, or wrath of some supreme being.
Vengeful spirits, cruel and diabolical things born from murder and war, struggle for power, man-made disasters. Anything possible that could be listed as mankind's dark side, just list them.
While some called it the day of Retribution, Apocalypse, Doom… one publicly acknowledged term was "The Day of Reckoning".
And as Earth went through a drastic reform, continents tearing into another, the sea trying to reclaim land. The unseen became seen, taking form from fairy tales and whatever artifacts they could find, monsters called Var manifested into reality, born to destroy what was left of humanity.
Left to a deserted fate? Surely not.
The Tribulation appeared, at first a random group of people were randomly thrown into the past. Inheriting the Will of those who had passed on, and also contributed to the achilles they were currently facing in a certain sense.
They awakened their marks, inherited their Will and were given some special and other bizarre abilities that were beyond imagination and reasoning.
Welcoming a new era to mankind, oxygen was no more, replaced by Τια.
Bearers as they were called, currently reigned, replacing the unjust government that had played a seasoned part to their nightmare.
But just then, leaping off the off-road vehicle the mid built man turned to the anticipating nervous crowd with a cheeky grin.
"It's here"
And then, before Flynn could react and adjust the bridge of his glasses, a startling scene happened.
Starting from the brown haired youth before him who vanished into thin air, a few others beside him noiselessly disappeared, cracking his calm composure as he vanished afterwards in a similar way.
