[Every citizen is required to seek shelter and hide in the meantime for their own safety. Rest assured that our government is looking at this right now and acting accordingly]

"W-Wh-What's that…?!!"
"Aah!"
"Someone help!"
"Get those things out of here!"

The screen went off, exhibiting a curtain of different colours that signalled a break in transmission.
[Bear with us. We will be back shortly]

The rotor blades of a helicopter spun at immense speed, its sound nearly overshadowing that of a beautiful reporter, if not for the efficiency of her microphone. She sat them, adjusting her short corporate skirt intermittently as she peered into the camera to report what she was watching. From time to time, she and the camera crew of two men would look around in the air and down at the citizens as everybody was either running, hiding or having the balls of steel to fight the invaders.
"It's a chaotic scene down there and as we can see, it seems some men are fighting back as much as they can, trying their best to hold off these monsters," she reported, her voice shaking a little as she tried to gain composure and calm since she was live on air. Sadly, as she was performing her duties, this reporter suddenly froze and her mouth widened. She caught a glimpse of a sparkle of light from afar, the sort of sharp light that one sees when the sun reflects off a piece of glass. She had noticed it just once and knew immediately that it was not normal.
"What's… What's the—" she tried to point in front of her, and suddenly, the helicopter went up in a burst of flames from an explosion. The sound of the explosion rocked the atmosphere and temporarily drew the attention of both humans and their invaders upward. However, the invaders were quick to return to what they were doing, as for some of the humans, they had their hands full with dodging the parts of the helicopter that flew downwards.
Caaawwww~
A strange black bird croaked as it emerged from the flames of the explosion that destroyed the helicopter. It raised its head and croaked loudly while flapping its wings. It was a black bird that looked like a mix of a crow and an eagle, having two pairs of wings — two on each side — on its back. Seeing how it burst through the helicopter before the pilot even detected it — and afterwards, causing it to explode — spoke volumes of the speed and power of this crow-eagle hybrid.

"Captain! Our bullets don't work!"
"Even our tanks can't do much against most of them!"
"We are totally fucked!"
"Call for backup!"
"We are doomed!"
"We are doomed!"
"We are doomed!"
"Doomed, I tell you!"
A number of the soldiers who had been deployed to the front lines started to crash out, running to their deaths mindlessly as they took a last stand and fired their guns recklessly, emptying their cartridges until they were killed. It was a hopeless situation. There was little to no chance of them winning, and there was no hope for backup.
Even the Silver House of this country, which the president and his officials loved was under attack, and the same applied to places of similar importance. There was no discrimination from the invaders. Everybody was attacked regardless of what they were or the power they possessed.
"Aah! Get out of the way!" a burly yelled out loudly as he descended from a great height. The ones who managed to hear or notice him as his body came down like a meteorite were quick to react and run away for their lives. Those who did not were caught up in the aftermath of his attack. As he fell, his underside seemed to shine with a metallic sheen, reflecting light from the sun. The force with which this big man landed caused the ground to crack in several ways, deepening a little and raising dust and stones to create in the screen.
Inside this screen, onlookers only heard the sound of punches and kicks. Naturally, they assumed that the man was dead and the invaders had lynched but reverse was the case. This was further proven when he noticed two goblins out from the smoke screen, causing them to crash into one of the demolished buildings. Everyone watched with mouths ajar; both well-trained soldiers and civilians couldn't believe their eyes. This strange man was handling his own against the invaders.
It was a miracle!
Finally, a glint of hope shone inside a dead, dark tunnel for mankind!
People were starting to awaken and this man was only one of them.
After a few minutes of meting his punishment on the invaders, the man walked out from the cloud of dust, massaging his neck and cracking it along with his knuckles as he moved towards his spectators like a superhero who had just destroyed a deadly villain. Eyes glued on him with admiration, confusion and fear. No human was that strong, and they didn't know if he was just an invader disguised as one. Naturally, they would think this since no one knows the extent of the invaders' capabilities, plus such has been acted out many times by Xollywood.
The man walked for a bit into the open and stopped to look around. Both of his hands up to his wrists and his legs up to his ankles seemed to be covered in a silvery substance. It was metal, the type still unknown to the observers.
He inhaled and exhaled with relief, scratching his hairy, naked chest, only to discover that it was a cut from his just included fight that pricked him. His figure was quite dominating with his height and well-built muscles.
"D-Don't move!" a few of the soldiers yelled as they raised their firearms at him. It was purely on instincts that they did this, without even realising that this man had just slain creatures that their bullets merely scratched.
The man chuckled and pointed to himself.
"Me?" he asked them like he was seeking clarification as he looked around to be sure there was no one else they had mistaken him for.
Seeing that it was really him, he sighed and clicked his tongue. "Tsk! Tsk! I'm not your enemy. I'm human too and I'm sure you can tell that those guns won't do anything either."
He took a step forward.
"Don't move an inch!"
He took another step and the soldiers moved back. As he raised his leg to take a third step, a shot was fired.
