Nima didn't hesitate. She raises her hands and focuses all her spiritual powers to summon as many soul chains as possible. "Kent, hang in there for ten seconds! I have a plan."
"Ten?! I will try. But you must match all that big talking with your next attack. Don't embarrass me."
Before he could say further, the demonic leader's shadows writhed and surged toward him. Kent gritted his teeth, pushing off the crumbling floor to dodge. He had no time to think, no time to strategize—only time to move.
His fists glowing with fire, shattering tendrils of darkness as he lashed toward him. Each punch he delivered sent a ripple through the leader's form, but it was like punching smoke—the damage barely stuck.
The leader's glowing eyes fixed on him. Its mount opened, revealing a spiralling abyss within.
"ENOUGH. The demonic leader Barked."
