"Ten-thousand Spirit Sword Slash! 15th Form[Elongated Blade]!!" Zlatan called out. Raising his sword up, a Copper Tinted Flame engulfed him and soon thousands of brownish-red copper swords were brimming with spiritual energy and hovering around him. His eyes were now a bright lit copper as with a swing of his sword, all swords around merged into one 15 meter long blade coming right at the dragon's leg.
Before the dragon could act, it suddenly couldn't feel its limb anymore. For in an instant, Zlatan had performed 18 revolutions at light-speed, dividing its fore leg into 18 circular pieces falling off to the ground.
The Storm Dragon couldn't tell whether to roar or not, for it felt no pain for a fleeting moment before its eyes widened.
*ROAARR!!!
A fierce roar escaped its throat, as the pain it felt was as if a mega-sized spear had thrust right through its foot and out of its body.
Suddenly its eyes began to change colour and with a blink, only a dark sclera and bloodred irises could be seen. That was the last straw and now it had activated its core to the highest potential. This was the fear of most hunters, the Berserk Mode.
*ROARRRRRRR!!!
*KRACKA- BOOM!!
The mountain shook and the earth cracked up, the winds getting wilder and chaotic than before. They were sharp and faster, able to cut through like blades forming a large barrier around the monster.
'Hahah, this just keeps on getting fun by the second. Huh?!' Zlatan who was now far up in the sky and almost disappearing into the clouds when he noticed something on the dragon's head. "Oh no you don't!"
The stubs of its horns could be seen rising up slowly, both horns forming up again. He knew of how worrisome its storm abilities were, he currently had tons of spiritual energy to spare. However, if he was to deal with its abilities, he was good as dead from the beginning.
Having already made the decision to not let it get even a fraction of its horns back. For it would need more than being in berserk mode to recover its full power. A little of it was more than enough for it to be a threat, as it was a King Tier Monster he was dealing with. One wrong step and he was a goner, something he didn't want without having taken his revenge.
Making the fall from the sky towards the Dragon, he needed all the protection he could get this time round, for he had to make the cut without fail.
"Spirit Shield! Tenth form–[The Eight Guards Embracing]" A massive amount of copper tinted spiritual energy shrouded his entire being. Appearing from the cloud of energy, eight guard shields solidified and formed a barrier around him moment before he went right into the chaotic winds around the dragon.
*CLANK–CLANKCLANKCLANK!
The shield was being battered at, but he knew that wouldn't be enough to stop it. However, he was wrong for just about 5 meters in the barrier shattered in a single go as something large swept by.
*CLANK!
*CRACK- CRACK- CRACK!
*CRASH!
'What?! That's impossible!' Zlatan was taken aback, still he found himself in a chaotic area as using his sword to black out the incoming blades of winds, he quickly went to activate another.
"Spirit Shield! Tenth— " From where it was coming from he couldn't tell, but the hairs all over his body stood up. Being in the middle of using a Spirit Technique, a Spiritualist at his power level would suffer a greater drawback if he didn't fully use the technique.
Of course the shield would form up quickly, yet still what he could now see coming wasn't one of the normal wind blades in the chaotic winds. It was a rather larger one than the others, its speed faster than one expected it to be with is sheer size. He had failed to notice, but that was what had destroyed his shield. Now in a dilemma, Zlatan had to make a decision and he had to do it fast.
"Darn it!" He cancelled the usage of the technique, with the drawback acting in the next second. "Ack!!!" A sheering pain shot out from within his heart. It was thumping faster, and as if holding needles inside, they began to pierce at his heart walls for escape.
Holding in the pain which he easily did, gritting his teeth hardly and bitting on his tongue.
The massive blade was about 3 meters away as with a spiritual energy blast, one if the basics for any Spiritualist to learn. He shot himself away from its path, in a random direction still in the chaotic environment. Not long, he was met with many smaller wind blades coming in random directions. His half-king tier armour was fairly beaten up by the constant damage for those blades, though his sword seemed in a rather good condition. They were too much to dodge and all he did was block those heading towards vital areas.
Activating the shield was out of the case now with the drawback still affecting him. He was a huge distance away from the dragon, and for some reason it hadn't noticed him yet, or so he thought. It had its eyes shut close, solely focusing on regaining its horns back. Still stuck in constant waves of blades, Zlatan knew he was being exhausted out slowly. He wasn't even being given a second to use any of his scrolls at the moment. He was stranded, just needing that push to get him closer to the dragon. As if hearing his plea, his wish was granted for from behind something sharp hit him.
'It changed direction?' Zlatan tilted his head to get a glance at what hit him, only to recognize the large wind blade from before. However, something was different now, it glowed red in colour instead.
The armour taking most of the damage, he was flung from where he was in one direction— towards the dragon.
Miraculously dodging most of the incoming blades, he found himself meters away from the monster.
Luckily, there weren't any incoming wind attacks of any sort, as he wondered how he would tackle them with his stamina running low by the minute. His was breathing heavy and quick trying to haggle for breath. His eyes were fixated on the dragon and just when he blinked for a second it wasn't there anymore. Zlatan wasn't even given a moment to think at all as the hairs on his body stood on end. The temperature of his body and that around shooting up significantly in an instant.
