Chapter 28 - He Is My Husband

The unfamiliar navy blue truck, including the unfamiliar man walking by Laritte's side, confused Chairman Delaney. Puzzlement ladened his initially joyful countenance for seeing his granddaughter.

"Brian," Chairman Delaney called the middle-aged man sitting by his side, his eyes centering on the crimson-haired young man, "Who's that guy? I've never seen him before."

Brian Kingsley, the elderly chairman's right-hand man for over three decades scanned the young man in the light blue suit. His eyes flickered with recognition.

"Well, seems like you have quite an interesting guest today, Mr. Chairman. I didn't expect to see him here."

"Huh?"

Chairman Delaney finally tore his gaze away from Lariette and the young man, looking at Brian. His assistant's remark indicated that he knew who the guy was.

"Who is he?"
