Chapter 36: The Warning
We made our way back to the pack, our senses on high alert for any signs of danger. As we approached the pack's headquarters, I could feel a sense of unease in the air.
Liam nodded to Victor, who stepped forward to address the pack.
"We have reason to believe that the leader of the Order is planning to attack us," Victor said, his voice serious. "We need to be vigilant and prepared to defend ourselves at all times."
The pack nodded, their faces set with determination. We knew that we were in for a fight, and we were ready.
We spent the rest of the day preparing for battle. We fortified our defenses, set up traps and alarms, and made sure that every member of the pack was accounted for and ready to fight.
As the sun began to set, we gathered around the fire to discuss our strategy. Liam and Victor were in charge, and they outlined a plan to defend our territory and take down the leader of the Order.
I listened intently, my mind racing with thoughts of the battle to come. I was scared, but I was also determined. I was ready to do whatever it took to protect my pack.
As the night wore on, we heard the sound of footsteps approaching. The leader of the Order had arrived, and it had brought its followers with it.
We stood ready, our hearts pounding with anticipation. The battle was about to begin.
The leader of the Order stepped forward, its eyes blazing with hatred.
"You fools," it spat. "You think you can defeat me? I have the power of the ancient ones on my side."
We charged forward, our claws flashing in the moonlight. The battle had begun, and only one side would emerge victorious.
