Chapter 22: The Training Begins
The leader of the Order of the Moon nodded, as if it was satisfied with my response.
"Then let us begin your training, Emily," the leader said. "You have much to learn if you are to fulfill your destiny as the Moonchild."
I nodded, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. What would my training entail? And how would I learn to control my newfound powers?
The leader gestured to Victor, who stepped forward.
"Victor will be your trainer," the leader said. "He will teach you everything you need to know to fulfill your destiny."
I nodded, feeling a sense of gratitude toward Victor. I knew that I could trust him to help me on my journey.
