Chapter 2 : The strange sensation
Emily's Pov
I tried to focus on my classes throughout the day, but the strange sensation lingered. It was like my body was humming, waiting for something to happen.
At lunchtime, I met up with Sarah in the cafeteria. We grabbed our usual table by the window and spent the first few minutes catching up on gossip.
As we ate, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. The sensation in my fingers had spread to my toes, and I felt like I was vibrating.
Sarah noticed my distraction and asked if everything was okay. I brushed it off, not wanting to worry her.
But as the day went on, the sensation grew stronger. I felt like I was going to burst out of my skin.
After school, I decided to take a walk in the woods to clear my head. The fresh air and exercise usually helped me relax.
As I walked, the sensation grew stronger. I felt like I was being pulled toward something, but I didn't know what.
Suddenly, I heard a rustling in the bushes. I turned to see a pair of glowing eyes staring back at me.
My heart racing, I tried to run. But my legs felt heavy, like they were rooted to the spot.
The eyes drew closer, and I felt a strange sense of calm wash over me.
And then, everything went black.
