Kenji arrived to the boat village and it was a simple fishing village. The houses were spaciously arranged and were not cluttered. There were children laughing and chasing each other. Those were the smiles worth protecting and dying for.
He entered the village and observed, some were preparing to fish and then some dried their fishes on nets they have.
He approached a boatman then he was surprised by his approachability. He was Cannie.
The dawn still has to arrive and Kenji then prepared for his journey. A lamp was carried by Kenji while they were on the docks. Kenji's plan to go to the Giant continent was on the move now.
Luckily, there was a working boat and a boatman available for their journey. Or else Kenji would be on foot or a horse. The waters were also calm and steady. Making it a good shortcut to the citadels of all tribes.
Cannie approached him with a lamp daggled near his face. Lighting up the surroundings as well as the dock of boats in a small radius.
Kenji sat on the boat and the boatman grabbed his paddle.
"Pleased to meet you, young master! What should I address you with?" he introduced.
"I am Kenji, Just call me anything you want. Not a problem for me," Kenji said.
"But I prefer this wretched me to be formal. At least I, a peasant can be of use to you. It was an honor," he said.
"Nah, I am not used to formalities," Kenji said in a sad voice.
"Oh really? Well, you can relate to us then! That's good news!" he said.
It was then, that they started their journey towards the Docks of Warthum. The boatman paddled the waters and Kenji was in the front while seated, facing the hanging lamp on the boat to light up the front.
The waters were calm and they traveled without problems. The sun was about to rise and they saw the taint of darkness on the side of the rivers. Monsters were lurking on them and the miasma of evil was within the forest. It was void of life and decay wafted on their noses.
"The forest was dead and evil was spreading throughout the lands. I can only wish for our survival. Young Sire, are you really sure you want to go there? I can sense that evil has already spread on your way to your destination. Monsters are already seen in these parts. How much more there?" he asked.
"Yeah, I can only worry. I still need to investigate what happened. I still have to retrieve something of great importance in the Necromancer citadel. I hope it is still there," Kenji said in a worried tone.
"I won't ask what it is but are you sure to fight your way in?" he asked.
"I am a Necromancer already so yes,"
"What? You are a job class holder? I didn't know! Well, that's good news! My worries subsided, thanks!" he said.
"Yeah,"
"We will arrive soon. Just say you will turn back and I will do so. I will have to return though after I send you off. You are on your own for now," he said.
"Don't worry, I can handle myself," Kenji replied.
They soon arrived at one of the docks. It was the docks of the village of Warthum. A necromancer protected the village and was a fishing village. Well, not anymore. It was silent and the smell of blood and decay was what greeted him.
"Bye for now, so long my Prince," he said then went on his way. Turning his boat then left off.
Kenji arrived and then saw a dead body of Necromancer on the docks. It has a wound on his back with a slash from his left shoulder towards his right pelvic. Bathing his back with blood.
It was then, that there were shouts from a distance, and Kenji was alarmed. He thought that there were still villagers alive at the moment. Hurrying his steps, he passed on the dead bodies of villagers. Their bodies were pecked by crows as food and passing them by made them fly in a scattering motion.
Kra! Kra! Kra!
The crows shouted whilst they flew. Making the enemy alerted of his presence. While running on several houses, his nose was smelling the wafting decay. Several ones of the bodies were starting to decompose.
Kenji then saw the robed men in red, pouring their reddish-colored power on several villagers made them scream. One saw him and was a female in her thirties. A mother to be exact.
"Help me! Please don't let me become a demon!" she wailed.
"You're too late! Hahaha!" the enemy bellowed.
"Agh! No!" she wailed as she was slowly turning.
Her face distorted and became monstrous. Her clothes burned and her skin became furry black. Wings sprouted on her back and her legs became of a ruminant animal. The face became of a goat but fanged.
Kenji was alerted, these kinds of powers of corruption were on high-ranking cultists. Even heroes of humanity were not excepted for their corruption. Making them once the protectors of humanity to one of the greatest enemies. Making only Kenji become saddened by the process.
"Attack him!" The enemy leader shouted.
Kenji then drew his one-handed scythe while having a bone shield in his other hand, he then dashed towards the flying enemies towards him.
He immediately used [Soul Fire] and threw it at them. Making them hit. The skill ended and then used his weapon to attack them.
Corrupting them into demons was a noteworthy achievement but it stops there. Kenji killed her as well as the other turned demons.
"Rest in peace," Kenji said then was fired with dark missiles and saw the leader start running. Making his underlings fight for him.
Troan then slashed the enemies with his scythe and decapitated them with just his slash and used [Ground bone spike] on the enemy leader. Making him skewered in the process.
"Ugh!" he let out from his mouth.
It was then, Kenji retracted the spikes and then he stumbled to the ground.
"You will pay for that!" he shouted while spitting blood.
He healed himself with dark energies and then faced Kenji himself. He then turned into a demon and then flew at him. Having greater in size compared to his underlings. A hulking figure compared to them and towering in size.
Kenji was amazed and then just smirked. It will only be a bigger target for him to indulge in.
Kenji then used his skills without reserve, he was itching to use them up until now.

The summons emerged from the ground and immediately ran towards the enemy. With the claws of the enemy that he slashed at them, they were blown.
Kenji used his ranged spells and basic attack on the enemy while the enemy was busy with his summons.
The graveyard spawns skeletons and the militias are attacked with their crude weapons. The warrior leaped at the enemy and slashed with his sword. Dealing damage to the enemy. The Skeleton sniper sniped from a distance and fired at him with great precision.
One arrow struck his right eye and the enemy wailed in the process. Making it raged on the process. The Skeletons attacked and they were swiped by his arms, making them blown by the force.
The Skeletons then attacked and slashed him and Kenji used his skill [Ground bone spike] for damage, [Dark fog] for blinding him, and [Reaping slash] for another magical damage. All while on a repeating process. Making the enemy end its life with its health run out.
