Chereads / Mr. Billionaire's Fake Fiancée / Chapter 10 - I Am His Fiancée

Chapter 10 - I Am His Fiancée

"Hyman requested to add you as a friend."

Looking at her WhatsApp name, 'Big Shot Laura', Laura quietly changed it to 'Hyman's Beloved Laura'.

Hyman received a message saying that his WhatsApp friend request was accepted. He was the type of person who never added others as friends. He was just bored and asked the butler for Laura's phone number to test if it was her WhatsApp by inputting it in the friend request.

But as soon as he entered the ID and saw the name 'Big Shot Laura', he was shocked and speechless. The profile picture was a ridiculous emoji of "I am your God" (wearing sunglasses) jg. Hyman instantly concluded that the butler and others definitely hadn't checked Laura's WhatsApp.

She didn't even bother to pretend.

He hadn't intended to add her, but damn, his finger slipped and sent the request by mistake. Then he found himself in a kind of anger that he would add someone.

What made him even angrier was that Laura didn't accept it right away; she left Hyman hanging for the entire afternoon before accepting the WhatsApp request. And then Hyman saw the audacious first thing Laura changed her WhatsApp name to 'Hyman's Beloved Laura'. It made him a bit disgusted internally, but her tactfulness made him feel slightly better.

Of course, he didn't dare to initiate sending a WhatsApp to Laura; instead, Laura, being particularly thoughtful, sent a greeting on WhatsApp.

Hyman's Beloved Laura: Oh, Honey~~, you added me? I'm so happy~~! I'm your little baby.jpg...

Although the emojis on the chatting box were silly and joyful, Hyman could still imagine Laura's expressionless face while typing that message.

Damn it!

He threw his phone aside; there was no way he would reply.

What was his status, what was hers? She was just his fake fiancee. He needed to find a chance to delete it.

On Laura's side, when she noticed that Hyman didn't reply, she didn't care. She turned off her phone and prepared to go home and continue playing games. The game dungeon she was playing today was quite important; she knew she would fail if she didn't play actively. She estimated that her teammates were already cursing her up and down.

But as soon as she took the subway home, Laura received a message from the butler, indicating an additional task.

The butler's tone fluctuated with condemnation. "Still, as a sick person, how can he go out to bars and clubs?! Isn't there anyone who can control him?"

Laura's mind was already filled with profanities, feeling frustrated. "So you called me?"

The butler arrogantly replied, "Of course, you are his fiancee. This is not only a good opportunity to strengthen your relationship with him but also your right to bring him back."

Laura retorted, "Isn't it because no one in your family dares to go and call him?"

The entire Martin family listened to Hyman, even now that he was sick, and with all the assets in his name, who would dare to go against him in the Martin family?

The butler coughed, "Ahem, the Martin family affairs are none of your concern!"

Laura glanced at the time, seeing that her teammates had finished cursing her, and mentioned that there was still one more chance in the game dungeon. If she stood them up again, Laura would be completely abandoned. So, Laura dared not run away.

Laura firmly declared, "Now, it's very late, I need to cook for my younger sister who's studying."

The butler offered, "I'll transfer an extra hundred thousand dollars now."

Laura requested, "Send me the address now, and I'll bring him back. How dare he go clubbing while he's sick? Unbelievable! Watch me teach him a lesson!"

The butler, "..."

On the screen, Laura typed hastily, apologizing that something urgent came up and she needed to go out. She promised to make it up to everyone tomorrow.

Teammate A, "Your mom exploded, bro."

Teammate B, "Your dad exploded, bro."

Teammate C, "Your whole family exploded, bro."

'Tonight' was the most famous bar on the biggest shopping street in City A. It was also a paradise where countless young people indulged themselves.

Just across the street was the largest shopping mall, filled with luxury stores, making it City A's famous shopping heaven.

On this side of the street, countless sports cars were roaring, and young people gathered in small groups, making it the best gathering place for wealthy people.

It was not surprising for Hyman to appear here; he was rich and mysterious, but that didn't mean he was unseen.

Others didn't know his exact identity, but they knew he was super wealthy.

Tonight, this bar had the highest reputation. The interior decor might not be grand, but its understated luxury was even more desirable.

Inside, you could see numerous world-class vintage wines; Lafite was nothing special compared to the million-dollar-a-bottle Romani Conti. Of course, ordinary people couldn't afford them.

The expenses here were also beyond the reach of regular people. The minimum expenditure for a single person's drinks had to exceed 10,000 dollars, and they had to be accompanied by a member to enter.

It was the place where countless internet celebrities, young models, stars, and second-generation wealthy people checked in.

Laura had been to the bar before, but she had never been to such an extravagant bar.

In the past, she went to bars to catch her lazy and useless younger brother, who hung out with a group of hooligans in these places.

Laura was sure that her younger brother couldn't afford to come to a place like this.

She stood at the entrance, which was a simple and low-key main entrance, but the two bouncers standing at the entrance had a completely different attitude from the others. Typical bars wouldn't have these. There was also a detection device that checked whether you were carrying any dangerous items.

As Laura approached the door, one of the bouncers politely asked, "Miss, do you have a membership card?"

Laura didn't look like someone who came to party and drink. The pink denim overalls had no hint of a professional vibe. Laura innocently nibbled on her lollipop and said, "No, I'm here to find someone."

"I'm sorry, but without a membership card, you can't enter," the bouncer complied with his professional protocol and added politely, "Of course, if you know someone, they can come and escort you in."

Laura glanced at her phone. The butler had cunningly transferred only 50,000 dollars and said that the remaining 50,000 dollars would be transferred after successfully bringing Hyman back to the hospital.

Laura asked, "How can I get a membership card here?"

"If you have spent over a million as a member's referral, you can directly apply for one. If you haven't, you must spend over 500,000 dollars in a single visit, and then we can grant you membership eligibility."

The price he mentioned made Laura feel, for a moment, that this money might not be money. It was really extravagant. Even more expensive than her mission fee.

Laura said, "I can't spend money like that."

The bouncer, "..."

Laura continued, "I am Hyman's fiancée, I'm here to visit him."
