Chapter 3 - Reward System and Harry's Thoughts

AMAIRA'S POV—

I didn't attend the rest of the classes. Hah, to think my second year would start with this. Sitting on my bed, I pondered about the today's events.

"Does your cheek hurt?" asked Liam.

'Little bit. It's nothing new for me. Back at home, I always get hit for some reason. Forget about that, Liam. Tell me more about your reward system.'

"Host! How could you dismiss this like nothing?" I was shocked by his reaction. I never had anyone to stand up for me. Almost everyone hates me, and my personality isn't helping to make it any better. For the first time, someone is angry on my behalf. I was touched. I smiled in gratitude.

'Thank you, Liam. Honestly, I am fine. Just tell me about the reward system and I will feel even better.'

Liam sighed, "Everyone of them is an idiot. I can't believe my host is such a good person. Yes, I have decided. I will help you in getting your revenge against her."

I laughed at his words. Thankfully, the other four are not in my room. 'Yeah? Thank you so much. But tell me about it, please.'

Liam replied, "Ok, then. Listen, when you complete a mission, you gain some points, that would help you to level up. When you level up, you receive some gifts/rewards from me. It could be anything. When you complete the last mission, I would be unbound from you, making me an independent system. With my help, you can become even a goddess."

I swallowed my saliva with some difficulty, when I heard his words. Is Liam that powerful?

'And what about the Men Conquered thingy? Do I have to kill them?'

Liam laughed at my words. He said, "Honestly, Host! I think you know it yourself about its meaning."

What?! He wants me to do that. I blushed a bit. I stuttered mentally, 'W-what a-are y-you s-s-saying? W-why?'

"Host. You are intelligent, I don't think that I need to explain you about this. But still, every powerful protagonist/leader have a harem. You don't like women, do you?" I shook my head in denial, "then, it's simple. Have a harem of men."

I rebutted, 'But I am not a protagonist.'

"Then, become one. Think about your survival. Does your morality stand before your survival? I think, the answer is, no. Use them to your profit. Use them to survive."

Yes. He is right. Nothing comes before my survival. If it demands this from me, then I would.

'Fine. I will do anything.'

"Then, let's start from tomorrow, Host."

THIRD POV—

Harry was in a dilemma. After he and Ron arrived at Hogwarts with Mr Weasley's flying car, they were almost expelled, thanks to Snape of course. But Dumbledore saved them. Then, he got lectured by Hermes. If that wasn't enough, Ron's little sister was stalking him throughout the whole day. It wasn't like he could say this to Ron, he would never believe him.

Although, that whole day changed when he arrived in the transfiguration class. Never in his entire life, he would've thought that Malfoy would confront Miss McGonagall. Malfoy directly said in her face that he was biased. It wasn't like she was telling a lie but, Snape was the same. He was always upfront in favouring Slytherins.

But that wasn't the reason for his dilemma. When he was going for his Charms class, Malfoy crashed on him. As always, Malfoy returned his remark, with her own mean comment. Suddenly, he noticed that Malfoy's cheek was red, as if someone hit her. While people might say that he was not very observant, he knew that Malfoy was hit by someone. He knew that Malfoy was in McGonagall's office, for punishment. It was impossible that she would have hit her. When he asked her about who hit her, she just dismissed him. She told him that it wasn't his business and left. Did McGonagall hit her? He didn't want to believe that. That's why he was in dilemma.
