Chereads / Villain's Harem Returns / Chapter 8 - Odalys Blir

Chapter 8 - Odalys Blir

The sounds of battle rang through the outsides of the palace as Draven and 18 Nocturnal knights dashed through its hallways.

Multiple times, they ended up coming across other Whiteyes, armed with different weapons and magics.

But Draven simply sent his forces to destroy them.

By the time he reached Odalys' throne room, he still had the top ten nocturnal knights by his side.

And he had yet to weave a single spell of his own.

Easy. As expected. To think that my clan allowed themselves to be terrorised by such a people.

And he could have made it even easier if he wished to, but for enjoyment's sake, he did not.

He pushed open the doors to the throne room and inside was a spectacle.

It was a room of much grandeur, though, of course, not quite as great as his own.

He noticed at least twenty Whiteyes, all more powerful than the previous ones they had seen.

And they circled the throne in a defensive formation, obscuring Draven's view of who sat there.

But when the Whiteyes witnessed who it was, their face twisted in one of shock, followed by a deep fear that chilled their very bones.

"My Lady, it's him!" One of the Whiteyes said over his shoulder, causing Draven to chuckle to himself.

That's right... It's me.

"Step forward Odalys, and face me like old times."

A few moments of silence passed before a quiet voice from behind the Whiteyes caused them to split, revealing the woman on the throne.

She was incredibly beautiful, one of the most beautiful women Draven had ever been with.

Her hair was white like his, but it was cut short into a bob. Though there were stripes of pink highlights streaking through it, which matched the colour of her eyes.

She was tall and strong, but her breasts and behind were large and soft. Even though she wore black robes, nothing could cover her curves.

In her hands was a long sword, standing even larger than herself, and her fingernails were sharp and clawed.

And when she spotted the sight of Draven, her eyes began to bulge so much that they almost fell from her face.

Instantly, Draven smelt the fear coming from her body, and it gave him great pleasure.

"D-draven. It's truly you."

The Lord of Evil let out a laugh at the pitiful reaction.

"Odalys Blir. Yes it is."

The halls were silent as the vampires and Whiteyes stared each other down for a few moments. Neither of their leaders talking.

"I... I didn't know you were ever going to come back. Of course, if I did, I would never have attacked your-"

"Silence Odalys, and raise your weapon."

The smell of fear that came from the head of the Whiteyes grew stronger, as Odalys shuffled away in her throne.

"Draven please, you don't understand. You told me that you would be away forever."

She is seriously pathetic.

"No, it's you that doesn't understand, Odalys. After helping you achieve what you have. All of this," he said as he gestured to the hall around him. "Achieved with the help of me."

He took a few steps forward.

"And you repay me by attacking the vampires whilst they're at their weakest."

A look of deep shame took over her face.

All the other Whiteyes looked at her with despair, wondering whether it was the end of their people

"Now, raise your weapon and come at me. I will not ask again."

As soon as the final words left his mouth, the woman disappeared from her throne.

But Draven had already sensed where she would move to, using his unique ability.

Foresight.

He turned around, and there she appeared, sword drawn and ready to swing.

All he needed to do was duck.

The blow glanced over his head, and Odalys disappeared again.

Draven uses foresight.

He simply stepped to the side as the blow came from above him, crashing into the floor with a force that created a crack in its stone.

Odalys disappeared again, finding herself standing on the throne.

She charged a ranged blade strike infused with magic energy, and swung her sword, sending a powerful blue arc heading towards him.

Then, for the last time, she disappeared again, behind Draven, so that she could sandwich him between the two attacks.

However, once she reappeared, he wasn't there.

Instead, he was behind her. Hands grabbing her shoulders to hold her in place, as her very own magical strike crashed into her.

The force was incredible, creating a gushing wound that went from her shoulder to her stomach.

"Aughhhhh!" She screamed in pain, as Draven pushed her to the ground.

He watched over her as she poured with blood. He had managed to dispose of her without having to use a single offensive ability.

And the reasoning was simple.

The stronger members of the Whiteyes had a special ability that allowed them to travel a small distance through space and time...

However, Draven himself had a similar ability, allowing him to see the movements of those who were at a certain level of power beneath him.

For example, he could not predict the moments of many of the other clan leaders.

But Odalys, she was weak. An enemy he had beaten before. He could see where she would move as soon as her decisions became resolute.

A perfect counter to the Whiteyes power.

"P-please, Draven. Spare my people." She coughed from the floor as the blood leaked onto the stone.

The other Whiteyes and Nocturnal Knights looked at the two leaders in disbelief.

The fact that a fight between two Lords could end so quickly was insane.

Draven walked over to the lady, and delivered a fast palmed strike to her head, rendering her unconscious.

Afterwards, he lifted her onto his shoulder and turned to speak to the remaining Whiteyes.

"You twenty are the only surviving members of your clan. Dracula will be outside, wiping out the rest."

Small gasps came from the twenty Whiteyes, but they could not say or do anything in retaliation.

"If you wish to continue keeping your lives, then you will follow us back to our estate and into our cells. From there we will decide what to do with you... And your leader."

Then, he turned and left the chambers of Odalys, his Nocturnal Knights following behind him.

And shortly afterwards came the Whiteyes too.
