Chapter 137 - CHAPTER 134

"Exactly! This super-electromagnetic shock gun is designed specifically to counter the energy shields of alien spacecraft," Kaius said with a grin. He gestured to a massive pile of stacked A4 papers in the corner of the Batcave, resembling a small hill. "I even included detailed instructions in your manual. Haven't you seen it?"

Bruce Wayne's expression darkened instantly. "Instructions? Who in their right mind has the time to read through tens of thousands of pages of—whatever that is?" His tone was dripping with exasperation.

Kaius simply shrugged. "Well, it's there."

As they spoke, the super-electromagnetic shock gun fired. On the crystal display, the simulated visuals of the attack played out in vivid detail. The electromagnetic pulse collided with Rhodesburg's energy shield, piercing through it with devastating force. The magnetic energy surged into the spacecraft's hull, disabling critical systems and plunging the prison ship into chaos.

"Now it's our turn," Kaius declared.

Without hesitation, he shot out of the Batcave, ascending toward the stars with Fiora and Clark following close behind. The three Kryptonians shattered the sound barrier, disappearing from sight in seconds.

Barry Allen watched them go, shaking his head in awe. "That's so cool."

Kara, watching enviously, crossed her arms. "I can fly, you know. Why didn't they let me go?"

Bruce raised an eyebrow at her. "You can fly already? It's only been half a month since you arrived on Earth."

Diana smirked, exposing Kara's boast. "Thirty centimeters off the ground doesn't count as flying."(T/N: 😂😂😂😂)

Kara's face flushed. "It's not thirty centimeters—it's at least a meter! Besides, Clark didn't learn to fly until he was 17, and I'm only 13!"

Meanwhile, Barry paced around the Batcave restlessly. Finally, he turned to Bruce, looking sheepish. "So, uh… Bruce… do we just wait here?"

"Yes, Barry," Bruce replied dryly. "Kelex is monitoring Rhodesburg's trajectory. Once it's closer to Earth, we'll reassess."

In Space

Rhodesburg, now battered and cracking from the super-electromagnetic shock gun, was on the verge of disintegration. Inside the ship's core control room, the Data Demon momentarily faltered as the electromagnetic pulse disrupted his systems. Recovering quickly, he began reactivating the ship's operational equipment.

"Futile," the Data Demon muttered, his voice devoid of emotion. On his console, he pulled up the live feed of the first containment cell. Within, a monstrous prisoner had already broken free of its mechanical restraints. It was only a matter of time before it escaped entirely.

"It's time to deploy the ultimate weapon," he hissed, a malicious grin spreading across his face.

Before he could act, three beams of intense, searing heat sliced through Rhodesburg. The beams tore the ship apart, causing massive explosions that echoed through the vacuum of space. The Data Demon scrambled to bring up his monitors, his expression darkening as he saw the culprits: Kaius, Clark, and Fiora, their heat vision devastating the prison ship.

"CURSE YOU!" the Data Demon roared as he activated the emergency release. A flood of inmates—alien criminals of varying shapes and sizes—poured from the shattered remains of Rhodesburg. Many of them were capable of surviving the vacuum of space and instinctively turned toward the nearest hospitable planet: Earth.

But before they could reach the atmosphere, three scorching beams of heat vision lanced through the void, striking them down with precision. The beams carved through the criminals like the scythe of the Grim Reaper, reducing most to ashes. Only a handful survived the onslaught, but they were swiftly met by Kaius, Clark, and Fiora, who moved with relentless efficiency.

Clark Kent, despite his moral code against killing on Earth, displayed no hesitation when dealing with the monstrous, inhumane criminals aboard Rhodesburg. Alongside Kaius and Fiora, he moved with equal precision and ferocity. In mere moments, the three Kryptonians had eradicated the threats, leaving only larger fragments of the shattered prison ship to be dealt with.

The team worked quickly, pushing the larger remnants of Rhodesburg toward the sun, ensuring no dangerous technology or prisoners could pose a future threat. However, one fragment was notably left untouched—a containment cell housing a creature so dangerous that throwing it into the sun would not destroy it. Instead, the creature would absorb the sun's fusion energy, growing unimaginably powerful.

This was why Kaius had insisted on cutting Rhodesburg into pieces. But even their meticulous efforts couldn't prevent the inevitable.

RUMBLE!!!

A massive explosion erupted from one of the fragments of Rhodesburg, sending debris spiraling into the void. Emerging from the chaos was a towering, terrifying figure—a monster nearly three meters tall, its muscular frame bristling with spikes, horns, and jagged protrusions on its shoulders, wrists, and back. Its fists were encased in jagged, bone-like gauntlets that seemed designed for sheer destruction.

The creature roared, unleashing a soundless but terrifying energy wave that rippled through space like a storm.

"Doomsday!" Fiora's voice trembled slightly, and Clark froze for a moment, the name resonating with the weight of fear and inevitability.

Clark had learned of Doomsday from his father's Kryptonian archives—a creature born of science and torment, created as the ultimate weapon of destruction. Fiora, on the other hand, had witnessed Doomsday firsthand during her time on Krypton. Its name was no mere title; it was an omen.

Doomsday thrived on destruction. Even without exposure to the yellow sun, it was nearly unstoppable. But now, bathed in sunlight, its power surged to unimaginable levels.

The beast's gaze locked onto Clark, fixating on the red cape fluttering in space. With a primal roar, it charged toward him like an enraged bull.

Clark squared his shoulders, his eyes narrowing. "You think you're going to break me?" he muttered under his breath.

The collision was cataclysmic. Clark met Doomsday's charge head-on, but the sheer force sent him crashing into a large chunk of Rhodesburg debris. A shockwave rippled outward, scattering smaller fragments in its wake.

Clark barely had time to recover before Doomsday lunged again. The monster's massive, bone-spiked fist connected with Clark's face, sending him hurtling backward like a meteor. Blood sprayed from his mouth—a rare sight for the invincible Superman.

For the first time, Clark felt truly overwhelmed. Not even his battle with General Zod had resulted in such devastating injuries.

Fiora charged in next, her smaller frame a stark contrast to Doomsday's monstrous size. With incredible speed, she slammed into the beast, her blows rapid and precise. But Doomsday barely flinched. Roaring in rage, it swung a massive arm and sent Fiora flying, her body spinning uncontrollably through space before she managed to stabilize herself.

The gap in power was staggering. Doomsday's strength, amplified by the sun, was far beyond even their combined might.

Fortunately, the sun's rays provided Clark and Fiora with rapid healing, allowing them to recover quickly. Undeterred, they regrouped and launched a coordinated attack, their combined strikes forcing Doomsday to momentarily stagger.

Kaius, observing the battle from a distance, hesitated. He wanted to assist Clark and Fiora—they needed his help against this overwhelming foe. But he knew the stakes were far greater. Doomsday, as devastating as it was, was merely a pawn. The true threat was the Data Demon, who had likely used Rhodesburg as a Trojan horse.

If even a single piece of Rhodesburg's debris fell to Earth, the Data Demon could infiltrate the planet's networks, accessing satellites and critical infrastructure. Even the upgraded Wayne Enterprises satellites, bolstered by Kryptonian technology, might not withstand his interference. Allowing him to survive would be akin to releasing a tiger into a defenseless village.

"Finish it quickly," Kaius muttered to himself, glancing back at the fragments of Rhodesburg still floating in space. If he didn't destroy them all, the consequences could be catastrophic.

The Data Demon watched the chaos unfold, his mechanical eyes analyzing every detail. Doomsday was unleashed, wreaking havoc as intended. But his primary objective was clear: survival. With a calculated smirk, he initiated the release of multiple cells, unleashing hordes of other prisoners—lesser monsters who could survive in the vacuum of space. They swarmed toward Earth, their instincts driving them toward the nearest source of life.

But before they could reach the planet's atmosphere, three beams of blazing heat vision tore through the void. Kaius, Clark, and Fiora moved like a synchronized machine, their attacks precise and devastating. Most of the criminals were obliterated before they could get far.

Kaius spared one last glance at Doomsday, now grappling fiercely with Clark and Fiora. "Hold him off just a little longer," he murmured, before turning his full attention back to destroying the remaining fragments of Rhodesburg.
