In Amstrong house
Alex had been waiting outside his teacher's room for some time.He is aware that the daughter of his teacher has visited him. She typically only visits in the morning, but it's practically dark right now.
He began to make his way down the building. After all, Alex's teacher got into a quarrel with his wife due to Alex's identity, making it embarrassing for him to meet his daughter.
So he typically stays away from his teacher's other family members. He trained with his teacher every day, as it is important for his future, and loved every minute of it.
Alex has been exercising every day since he was eight years old, so despite being only 14 years old, he has a good build and is average height for his age, around 5 feet 20 inches.
Alex is walking towards the small dilapidated structure, which stands in stark contrast to the other buildings' gorgeous appearance. Boys and girls alike were watching him as he walked slowly and steadily.
He looks dashing in his own unique manner. His black hair lends a hint of mystery, and his crimson eyes express a feeling of resolve. He presents a smart and young appearance while wearing a customary combination of well-fitting blue shirt and white trousers.
He has grown accustomed to the attention he gets from girls who give him second looks and from boys who are jealous of him.He has gotten used to ignoring all of these since he was a young child.
He keeps returning to the conversation he had with his friend last week as he moves along. It is difficult to form a guild; at the very least, a Guild needs at least 5 members and can have up to 200, including one mentor who has registered for the league.
Before doing anything else, he needs to level up to 3 so he can better defend himself when he goes out to hunt beasts. When he reaches level 3, he can, like everyone else, awaken his innate ability, and it will also enhance his mana. He can wield his fire more effectively by adding more mana.
Except for a select few, everyone has the innate potential to awaken their element at birth. The elements they get can differ depending on their parent's bloodline.
Alex gained a fire element that matched the colour of his eyes. Despite just being in level 2, he is already skilled in using few fire techniques.
People from Azure Cave City were surprised by Alex's high expectations at Pearl Blue Academy, which is known for producing water element users.Nobody understood why the academy valued him so highly.
Alex's origins are unknown, but some people claim that he is Michael's son because they both have fire elements and the same eye colour. Despite the rumours, Michael raised Alex since he was young and taught him everything.
He reached the building, climbed to the second floor, and spotted a boy reading a old book who seemed to be his age.
As he sank down on one bed, Alex inquired, "Are you still reading?". There are only two bunk beds, one table, and a little window in the small room.
Without glancing at Alex, Hill replied, "Well, I'm hoping to break through level 3 next week.What about you?"
"You know, when we try to break through, we have to be careful. If not, levelling back up will be challenging "Alex warned.
Hill said, "I prepared everything for breakthrough," while releasing his evident improved mana power. "So don't tell me you have not reached the threshold, you are one of the best in our class"
"I suppose I could approach my teacher for assistance tomorrow.You are aware that I have to tell my teacher when it was time.I don't want to make a fool of myself infront of him."Alex replied while releasing his own which is more stronger than Hill.
"I hope you can reach level 3 so we can form our own guild.With you as our leader completing missions will be simple "responded Hill as he withdrew his own force.
Alex asked "have you searched for other people who seem trustworthy so that we can invite them to our guild"
"There are many people who are willing to join, but I don't know; it looks like they want to use our guild as a stepping stone, "replied Hill dejectedly. "I think it's better to recruit people who can help develop the guild rather than get betrayed in the end."
"Yes, you are correct.Perhaps we can watch people take the next exam and try to hire them. " Alex answered. He has a lot of faith that he would soon discover some appropriate members.
They turned as they heard brisk footsteps and saw a middle-aged man enter the room.After bidding Hill farewell, Alex stepped outside.
He is aware that the middle age man is Hill's uncle, the only relative working in the administrative division of Blue Pearl Academy.
The sky is dark.The streets are still crowded to the full with people. Alex planned to inform his teacher about his next level up after reaching the Amstrong residence.
The Amstrong residence is significantly larger than the neighboring homes. Michael Amstrong, his teacher, is among the strongest and the head of the Dawn guild, which is listed in the top 10 in the League of Warriors.
When Alex arrived at the house, he discovered Butler Joris waiting for him in the dining room.
"Young Master, Master gave this and instructed you to find a package in the meditation room," Joris said gently as he handed a letter to Alex.
Alex responded"Thank you, Grandpa Joris". Most of the time, his teacher left him alone to finish the mission.He was looked after by Grandpa Joris when his teacher wasn't around and,he spoilt him by giving sweets despite Michael's strict instructions. of course his teacher is unaware of this. Alex views Joris as a part of his family.
Grandpa joris smiles gently as Alex bids him good night
As Alex makes his way to the meditation room back the hall, he opens the letter and starts reading."Dear Alex, please use the item I left for you in the meditation room after you reach level three. Old Joris will give you instructions while I am away on a important mission that will last at least three months. Ensure that you look after yourself. Michael"
When he entered the meditation room, he noticed a package on the table on the right side of the room.
When he untied the package, a medium-sized box was inside, and the cloth used to cover it appeared to be quite old. There was also a slight odor of old rust. There's a marking of dragon roaring in the box and it's look like dragon battling the skies which make the blood boil.
" What a powerfull aura" Alex exclaimed in astonishment.
The box has a tiny groove that can only be opened by a blood drop.Alex cut his finger and dripped one drop of blood into the groove.
There was a click when the box opened, and a faint dragon roar could be heard.One crimson crystal and an ancient book were lying there.
