Scarlet pov
I sat on his lap, my arms wrapped around his neck as he smoked a cigarette. The room was dimly lit, the only sound the soft hum of the air conditioner. His face was hidden in the shadows, but I could sense his eyes on me, watching me.
"So, my dear," he said, his voice low and husky. "How is the mission going?"
I smiled, my lips curling up. "It's going as planned," I said. "Raymond likes me, trusts me. It won't take long before he asks me out."
He laughed, the sound sending shivers down my spine. It was a wicked, menacing laugh, one that made me feel like I was in on some dark and sinister secret.
"Excellent," he said, his voice dripping with satisfaction. "The Smith family will soon be nothing but a distant memory."
I leaned in close, my voice barely above a whisper. "I can't wait for all this to be over," I said. "I want to show the world that you're mine."
He chuckled, his chest vibrating beneath me. "Patience, my dear," he said. "We must see this through to the end."
Just then, a maid knocked on the door and walked in, carrying a tray of snacks and juice. She set it down on the table and walked out, closing the door behind her.
I pouted, my lips pursed. "Ugh, I hate it there," I said. "I'm treated like a queen here, but at Raymond's company, I'm just a lowly secretary. I have to work my ass off just to get noticed."
He stroked my hair, his touch sending shivers down my spine. "Don't worry, my dear," he said. "Soon, you'll be the one calling the shots. And as for Raymond...well, let's just say he'll be singing a different tune soon enough."
I smiled, my heart racing with excitement. I couldn't wait to see the look on Raymond's face when he realized he'd been played. And as for the Smith family...well, they would soon be nothing but a distant memory.
The thought sent a thrill through me, and I leaned in close, my lips brushing against his ear. "I love you," I whispered.
He chuckled, his chest vibrating beneath me. "I love you too, my dear," he said. "Now, let's get back to work. We have a family to destroy."
As I sat on his lap, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. We had been planning this for years, and it was finally starting to come together.
He stroked my hair, his touch sending shivers down my spine. "You're doing a great job, Scarlet," he said. "Raymond is completely under your spell."
I smiled, feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment. It hadn't been easy, getting close to Raymond and gaining his trust. But I had done it, and now we were one step closer to our goal.
"What's the next step?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.
He leaned in close, his breath hot against my ear. "We need to get Raymond to invest in our company," he said. "Once he does, we'll have control of the Smith family's finances. And from there, it's just a matter of time before we can take them down."
I nodded, my mind racing with the possibilities. We were so close, I could taste it.
Just then, his phone buzzed. He answered it, listening for a moment before responding.
"What?" he said, his voice sharp. "No, that's not what we agreed on. You need to... Fine. Handle it."
He hung up the phone, his expression dark. "There's a problem," he said. "One of our associates is getting cold feet. We need to take care of it."
I nodded, my heart racing with excitement. This was it, the moment we had been waiting for. We were going to take down the Smith family, and nothing was going to stop us.
"What do you need me to do?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.
He smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "I need you to take care of Raymond," he said. "Keep him distracted while we handle the problem. Can you do that for me?"
I nodded, my heart racing with excitement. I was ready to do whatever it took to make our plan a success. And if that meant keeping Raymond distracted, then so be it.
"I'll take care of it," I said, my voice confident. "Don't worry, I've got everything under control."
As I stood up to leave, he caught my arm and pulled me back. "Remember, Scarlet," he said, his eyes glinting with amusement. "We're in this together. And if anything goes wrong, we'll take the fall together."
I smiled, feeling a thrill of excitement at the risk we were taking. "I won't let anything go wrong," I said, my voice confident.
He leaned in close, his lips brushing against my ear. "I know you won't," he whispered. "You're the best, Scarlet. And together, we're unstoppable."
I shivered at the touch of his lips, feeling a rush of adrenaline at the thought of what we were about to do. And with that, I turned and walked out of the room, ready to put our plan into action.
As I walked back to the office, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. We were so close to achieving our goal, and I could hardly wait to see the look on Raymond's face when he realized what was happening.
When I arrived at the office, I made my way straight to Raymond's office. I knocked on the door, and when he called out, I walked in, a smile on my face.
"Hey, Raymond," I said, walking over to his desk. "I was wondering if you needed any help with anything. I've got some free time on my hands."
Raymond looked up at me, a hint of a smile on his face. "Actually, Scarlet, I could use some help," he said. "I've got a meeting with some potential investors this afternoon, and I need someone to take notes."
I nodded, my heart racing with excitement. This was perfect. I would be able to keep Raymond distracted while our associate took care of the problem.
"Sounds good," I said, smiling. "I'll make sure to take good notes."
Raymond nodded, his expression serious. "Thanks, Scarlet. I appreciate it."
And with that, I sat down in the chair next to his desk, ready to play my part in our plan. Little did Raymond know, his world was about to be turned upside down.
I stood up, smoothing out my dress as I prepared to leave. He handed me a small phone, one that I knew was untraceable.
"Keep me updated on Raymond's schedule," he said. "And make sure he doesn't suspect anything."
I nodded, tucking the phone into my purse. "I'll take care of it," I said.
He smiled, his eyes glinting with amusement. "I know you will," he said. "You're the best, Scarlet."
I smiled back, feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment. I was good at what I did, and I knew it.
As I left the room, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. We were so close to our goal, and I knew that nothing was going to stop us now.
I made my way back to the office, my mind racing with thoughts of what was to come. I knew that I had to keep Raymond distracted, and I was determined to do just that.
As I sat down at my desk, I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. I was in control, and I knew it.
I picked up the phone and dialed Raymond's extension. "Hey, boss," I said, trying to sound sweet and innocent. "What's on the schedule for today?"
Raymond's voice came over the line, sounding distracted. "Just the usual, Scarlet," he said. "Meetings and conference calls. Why?"
I smiled to myself, feeling a sense of triumph. "No reason, boss," I said. "I just wanted to check in."
Raymond's voice softened slightly. "Thanks, Scarlet," he said. "You're a lifesaver."
I smiled to myself, feeling a sense of satisfaction. I was in control, and I knew it.
As I hung up the phone, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation. We were so close to our goal, and I knew that nothing was going to stop us now.
But as I looked around the office, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. It was a feeling that I had been having all day, and I couldn't quite put my finger on what it was.
I shrugged it off, telling myself that I was just being paranoid. But as I sat down at my desk and began to work, I couldn't shake the feeling that something was watching me, waiting for me to make my next move.
