A old man opened his eyes as he looked up at the roof. On the roof, were celestial signs. One in particular was growing bigger and brighter. Ye Jianjun counted his finger and shook his head.
"Sigh~ Master, I don't understand..."
Ye Jianjun looked at the sky with a sad look. Multiple voices spoke to him from different jade slips, each one were stronger than the next.
"Has it begun?" a elderly and sickly voice said.
Ye Jianjun nodded. "1,000 years ago, my master–Qin Bingwen planted the 7 Rainbow Lotus Seed and hid it somewhere on this world. I could only try to find it by disguising as someone on this planet, but I never could. My masters last words were that the day it would bloom, would be the coming of a new era."
"What color is it?" a feminine voice spoke out.
"...black."
"Black!? Ye Jianjun! What have you done!" The voice belonged to a more younger man; however it was still powerful enough to make Ye Jianjun take a step back.
"Before my master left he mentioned what would happen when it bloomed. If it was yellow, blue, or green, the universe will know peace for the next 1,000 years. If the color was red or purple, then it would mean that a era of conflict."
He continues after pausing.
"Finally the black color. A combination of all 7 colors."
"What happens when it becomes black?" The feminine voice asked with concern.
"If it is black...then the most evil being–the devil has been born."
"What!?" The old mans voice echoed.
"Devil? I've killed many demons and immortals." The feminine voice said coldly.
"It's not so simple." Ye Jianjun said as he shook his head. "The Lotus flower is born from the energy of all things, so you could say that this world, is the fertilizer and water for it to feed from. When it changes color, it is because of it's surroundings. If it has turned black, then it can only mean that what it has been feeding off of, is the blood and hatred of all living beings."
"Get to the point!" The Young man scolded Ye Jianjun.
"Sigh~ As a being created from the universe, so long as there is evil and hatred in this world–even if just an ounce, the devil will never know death. Not only that, but it will grow stronger as time goes, eventually reaching the stage beyond–One Becomes All!"
"What! I thought that it was impossible to go beyond that stage! Are you sure?" The old man asked. A hint of ecstasy and thirst was shown.
Ye Jianjun replies, "This is what was told by my master who discovered the seed, along with a manual in a ancient tomb. After deciphering it, it is 100% true."
"Why couldn't you just leave it alone, you crazy fools!" The young man slammed something on his side.
"Once the seed is exposed, it must be planted! Otherwise, a catastrophe will occur."
"...Can you seal it?" The woman asked.
"Impossible. To do so would require us to have every single cultivator sacrifice their cultivation and that would give us only a slight chance."
"How did the ancients seal the devil then?"

"You can't kill it, can't seal it, then what else can be done?" The young man asked with annoyance.
"There is no way, but my master left me with a way out." He took out 7 pouches, each resembling a color. He opened the black one. "It is my responsibility and duty to open the right pouch at the time of the blooming of the lotus flower.
Inside was a paper. Ye Jianjun cleared his throat.
"...if you don't want to die, then hide like a turtle, you morons!"

Silence ensued, followed by a large pressure onto Ye Jianjun.
"You dare make a fool out of us!"
"I think you've gotten much bolder, Qin Bingwen!"
"This old fart, don't tell me that all this time, it's because he went to hiding!?"
Arguments flew across the room.
"L-lords! Have mercy, I am only reading out what my master wrote! I still have something to say!"
With a loud hmph! They released the pressure.
"Say it already, stop wasting our time!"
"R-right now, though the devil has been born, its still weak. Even if you meet it, it will be hard for it to kill you. In fact, maybe this is a opportunity."

"Taming a devil? Are you as crazy as your master?" The woman asked coldly. However at the same time, she was thinking about the idea.
