Macy's hold on the bow and arrow tightened. She was shocked that they knew her.
"Easy tiger..." The shadow said lifting his hands. "Hey Chase you better tell your girl to calm down..."
Her eyes darted to Chase who opened his eyes and sat his knee propped up like they were having a casual conversation.
"The fuck!"
"You're late..." He said to Macy arching a brow.
Macy lowered her bow. This is what he wanted but why?
He stood up and patted the shadow on the back as the seniors stood bewildered. They immediately took their stand ready to fight but Chase and the other shadows chuckled while Hydra puffed steam making them stop.
'You fucking knew!' Macy says to Hydra. He seems to shoot her what looks like a grin.
Meanwhile Megan and Judy watched the events unfold but didn't intervene.
"The fuck are you planning!" Macy yelled as Chase stooped laughing.
He looked over to her. "One two three...." He said confusing the crap out of Macy.
Just then the intrepids appeared and surrounded them. They all had swords ready to kill the shadows and probably Chase.
"Step away from him" Cole ordered as a fire wielder moved to attack Chase.
"Wait No!" Macy yelled standing before Chase. "You can't kill him!"
Cole's brows furrowed. "You defending a shadow!"
Macy sighed and cursed. "Kill him and you take away the only thing holding Mariana from escaping..."
"I won't repeat myself..."Cole said. "Step away!"
A senior moved to stab Chase from the back but swiftly Chase turned and grabbed his throat. He smiled wickedly a sight that shook everyone up before his fangs elongated and he teared his throat out . Blood covered his mouth as the body dropped to the ground. A deep wound on the neck. Chase's tongue rolled over his fangs a smirk planted on his lips.
"Whose next..." Chase asked. Hydra swiveled his neck to Chase's side as a form of intimidation.
Cole looked unfazed by the sight . "Still defending him. And who told you that he's keeping Mariana locked up. He probably wants her to be free..."
Macy took a deep breath as she stepped forward. "He isn't. I am..." She said. " I am Macy sorren. Daughter of Lord Hunter Sorren a vampire and Carrie Sorren a witch. And granddaughter to Mariana. My death her freedom...!"
She stood proud as gasps were heard from everyone around her. Their jaws dropped and Judy stepped out in shock Megan behind her. Chase smirk widdened.
Cole blinked severally. "Impossible!" He said.
"It's true!" Malcolm and Julie appeared and several vampires behind them. "She is the key to Mariana's freedom. Hunter's only daughter..."
They stood beside Hydra as they faced Cole's widdened state. Macy was shocked. This was planned. They wanted this to happen. Her identity to be revealed. The shadows from earlier seemed to smile. Macy looked at Chase.
'Bingo!' Chase said through their bond a smirk playing on his lips.
Cole watched the exchange between Chase and Macy before speaking. "They are tethered together..." Cole said looking at Malcolm's cold gaze.
Malcolm nodded looking at the two. "We should probably leave!"
Chase smiled over to the shadows who gave him a small nod before disappearing into thin air.

Macy sat in the library looking at her friends who stood before her arms crossed.
"Guys speak up. The silence is killing me!" Macy said.
"My friend is a fucking legend" Luke said rushing towards Macy and leaning on the desk. "You seem to amaze us each time "
The rest chuckled. Macy sighed in relief. "So you aren't mad or any of that shit..."
"Why would we. Sure you're grandma fucked most of our worlds but you are different ". Henry said as he moved towards Macy's side.
Macy nodded feeling relief wash over her.
"What is fucked about this whole thing is you're tethered to Chase!" Judy sighed.
"How the fuck did that happen?" Danny asked as she placed about.
Macy shrugged. "I don't have a clue. All I know is we can communicate. He managed to somehow tap into my power and sync it with his ..."
Luke nodded as he went deep into thought. He moved to the window as he rubbed his chin. "He wanted all this to happen. But what I don't get is why the shadows didn't kill him. He clearly betrayed them and killing him means you're dead and Mariana is free...."
"Gosh you're tethered to a psychopath..." Danny said.
Macy stood from her sit. "I'll talk to him. Find out what he wants..."
'Fucking bastard. I'm coming to see you..'

Macy groaned in frustration feeling his stupid grin. Her friends noticed her reaction and chuckled.
"This is going to be amusing to watch..."
Just as they all teased Macy the door to the Library opened and Harry walked to their coner.
"Macy can we talk!" Harry said.
Macy swallowed hard on seeing his serious expression. Luke leaned in her ear.
"You're screwed!" He whispered as Macy sighed taking long strides towards Harry. He seemed kinda mad.
"Yeah, she has tonnes of explaining to do..." Danny said as they watched Macy leave.
"I still don't understand how the fuck those two are twins..." Henry said. "It just ain't right"
Judy sighed and nodded. She still thought about all she saw. How the shadows glared at her. How the vampires appeared like the fucking Mafia and the shadows sharp gaze that sparked chills in her body. Those eyes were full of darkness like a neverending fall to doom . Devoid of any emotions.
