0- Introduction

Welcome! This book shall be a collection of humorous chapters, entirely written to be nothing less than absurd.

"What is it however?" you might be wondering.

Basically, it's just going to be a book of short stories, based on random ideas that I came up with on the fly, and got a huge kick out of. I suppose the two most prominent influences are going to be things like Adult-Swim and the Internet meme of "I forced my AI to watch 1,000 hours of X".

I really only have three main ideas for stories as I start this book, and if things go well with regards to engagement and appreciation I may continue to add to it, or transition to a more serious and mature project of a work.

It should be noted that some things may be offensive, although no genuine attacks or hateful views on anyone or anything should be seen, intuited, construed, or any other means speculated and assumed to be the case.

There will be mainly elements of absurdity throughout, but may also be elements of satire as well. Swearing and foul language should not be expected at every turn, as I don't really care to saturate a story or dialogue with them, but shouldn't be seen as a complete surprise.

That being said, the goal here is to take random ideas I've had and turn them into an anthology of individual short stories making a larger collection of funny nonsense.

There won't be much for regular consistency, I'm afraid to say, as I work full time, but I will definitely be making an effort to get to writing as I can.

If things go well, and I actually stick to my plans with this book, I'll be looking forward to two more stories of serious nature that will come to pass as well.

One will be something of a D&D campaign I had originally made plans to run years ago and never got around to, and the other being an original story surrounding magic in a medieval world, with a lot of intrigue and lore surrounding it, with some potentially very dark storytelling.

Without further ado, welcome to the Anthology of Absurd Adventures!
