Thinking about Vaerindor made Max even more sad. This MC is an outright villian when his devil bloodline takes over him. Well later when he came to his senses he started regretting, but well he had some of his harem member with him, who calmed him later by saying some bullshit stuff. Damn even remembering that chapter makes me wanna puke. How hypocrite can a character be. Well it's something in the future anyway. Let's worry about my own situation now.
Thinking about himself, he couldn't help but curse his own situation. The body which he is now is that of "Zhavrik Thalorein", the youngest of the Thalorein's.
This kid Zhavrik is an extra and a villian. He did not become villian or anything. Well his background itself is a bit weird and profound.
The "Thalorein's", one the most respected and feared humans across all the continent. The culprits behind the start of "war of gods" were the "Thalorein's".
Before the "war of gods", Dragons were one of the most feared races in world. Their magic ability and physical strength made their dominance unshake-able. With their arrogance they treated all the other races beneath them. During their arrogance period they did something that resulted in the downfall of their race.
The ancestor of the Thalorein's, " Kaelenar Vordahl ", was in love with a commoner women, who then got abducted and assaulted and killed by a lustful dragon.
When kaelenar found out the truth about his lover's disappearance, he couldn't hold himself and went on a rampage. Though he managed to kill a lot of lesser dragons he couldn't reach the lustful dragon who killed his lover as the dragon was of royal lineage and had the protection of his family members.
Kaelenar knew he couldn't go after the lustful dragon with his current strength, so he collected all the hearts of lesser dragons he had killed and went into seclusion. The dragons who learned about kaelenar's action, started attacking humans and killing them. Though they couldn't kill all the humans as there were some people amongst the other races who can still pose some threat to them, they went after the common citizen belonging to the Thalorein dukedom.
With their duke in seclusion, people of the dukedom couldn't stand the onslaught of the dragons and migrated to different dukedoms. This resulted in economic downfall of the Thaloreins. After couple of years, Thalorein dukedom became ruins. Only the family members and some of the loyal retainers were left in the dukedom. The neighborhood dukes even started encroaching the lands of Thaloreins.
After nearly 10 years kaelenar came out of his seclusion. First thing he did after coming out of seculsion was to hunt dragons. With the lesser dragons heart his power and magic had received a huge boost. Though with all this he still knew that he couldn't go against a royal dragon head to head. So he started plotting and came up with a plan to ambush some of the dragon. His plan worked and after killing couple of dragons he started consuming their hearts and used their body to make weapons and armors. In next 20 years he grew so strong that he went after Royal dragons openly.
This scared the dragons, not just the dragons, this scared the other races as well.
All the other races fearing humans would grow stronger if left alone, declared an all out war. Which resulted in the beginning of "war of gods". During this chaotic war, kaelenar went after the lustful dragon and ended up killing him and later consuming his heart and blood. Rest is history.
After the war ended, kaelenar stabilized his dukedom and rose to becoming one of the strongest being across the continent. As the time went, his body couldn't handle the dragons power, so he siphoned of all his power and created a weapon. He named the sword "Drakenscourge". A sword specially made to hunt dragons.
Even after the alliance was formed between all the other races, kaelenar hatred towards dragon did not decrease, this giving birth to this legendary sword.
The Thaloreins continued kaelenar's legacy and stood at the pinnacle of the human domain. Though after kaelenar nobody inherited dragon Slayers bloodline, they still maintained their power across the world.
But this kid Zhavrik is different, the youngest of the Thaloreins, awakened his dragon Slayers bloodline.
Zhavrik's story was a bit tragic, he'll die, no to be specific he'll be killed by one of the heroine who is a dragon.
His story is simple yet complex, at the age of 10 he'll go missing, nobody's knows where he went or what happened to him. The Thaloreins swept across all the continents in search of him and yet couldn't find him.
Later during one of the arcs, he'll be found by the MC and his gang who'll be out on an expedition. Once it was found that he was a Thalorein, the entire world was turned upside down as this kid was missing and was found after 10 years near the border of devildom.
Later during one of the arcs, this kid will be killed by the heroine for some dumb shit this kid will do.
But now this is my problem.
"Hmm, now that I know that iam inside this menacing novel, I think I can guess where Iam now. This definitely looks like the land of the dead. This place is the where the "war of gods took place", and this land seperates the pentagon races with the other three races. But how did this kid end up here? It was not mentioned in the novel as well. Damn atleast whoever sent me here should have waited until the novel was completed. I don't even know the complete plot. I can't even remember what was the initial plot properly. This novel had over 1000 chaps, how the hell am I supposed to remember all the minute details. Iam so fuc*ed. First I should find a way to get out of this eerie place".
Looking at the land and wondering a way to escape the land of the dead he eyes fell on his letter again.

" The Arcaneum academy" is the academy established by all the other races after the end of "war of gods" to counter the growing influence of the angels. And after they succeeded in their goal, this academy became the symbol of all the other races and a place for growth and development for the individuals. Graduates from this academy are highly regarded.
It's very competitive to get into this academy, as every year only 5000 can make it inside the academy. The entrance exam is tough and challenging. Many people can't even make past the 1st exam.
But Zhavrik was exempted from taking this exam. This just proves how much influence the Thaloreins hold across the world. Not everyone can get this exemption. Only the royal family of each race will this opportunity. But even though Thaloreins do not rule the human domain, they still are regarded with high status and comparable to that of royal families of other races.
