I said comment. How hard can that be?
Also, I have Sasha's art ready. Now, as soon as I learn to use Discord, I will upload them.

Chapter 16
As I entered the living room, I saw a worried Betty along with two more familiar faces. A woman of Aunt Elise's age, maybe a little younger, and a fair-skinned girl like Betty, about 12.
I recognized them without much trouble. Kara, Betty's mom, and Lizzie, Betty's younger sister. Too young for my taste. Her mom, on the other hand, was the perfect blonde milf. If there wasn't birth proof, I wouldn't have admitted for even a minute that Betty and Lizzie were her daughters because they didn't share any semblance at all.
Their color was a little on the lighter side thanks to Kara, but that was it. Other than that, there wasn't anything that could tell that they were mother and daughters.
Aside from them, there was everyone else from Aunt Elise's family except for Tom and Sasha. On the opposite side of Betty and her family, there were two more people. A man and a woman. They both had strict looks on their faces which told me only one thing about them.
People of law enforcement.
"Hey," I said as I approached all of them.
"Tyler?" Kara recognized me as well as she stood up to greet me. Hugging me wasn't a good idea at the moment but I had made sure my monster was properly tucked in.
I hugged her back and asked, "What happened?"
"It's—It's Jet. Something happened to him." Kara said.
"What happened?" I asked.
"You are?" The woman on the couch asked.
"I'm a family friend," I replied.
"Then I would appreciate it if we could talk directly to the family," The woman said, her tone firm.
I nodded, not wanting to offend her but also reasoned with her, "At the moment, they don't seem to be handling it well. I don't think you will get any information out of them."
You could either come later or talk to me now. I was giving them that simple choice. With the complexity of the situation, they had no choice but to deal with Betty and her family right now. After all, they'd have to visit much more later.
"Very well," The woman said. She seemed to be the one in charge but I couldn't tell from their plain clothes and since I couldn't see their badges, I could only assume they were detectives.
"A biker gang was targeted last night. All of them suffered from various injuries but five individuals among them all suffered some truly horrifying injuries." The female detective explained as she took some photos out.
She didn't need to show me. I knew every single detail.
"And what does that have to do with Betty and her family?" I asked.
"It may come as a surprise, but one of them was Jet Dawson, Miss Kara's husband." The female detective explained.
"That's…. not possible. I'm sure there's a mistake. Kara's husband is a real estate agent." I replied, keeping a confused face on.
"We found that surprising as well. As it turned out, the gang changed the identities of its members to trick wealthy people into marrying them. When we checked, it turned out that Jet had not only taken over the entire business of the Dawson family, he was also transferring funds to some offshore accounts." The female detective explained which made Kara sniffle behind me.
She was only finding this information so it may have come as a shock to her.
"What do they have to do with it?" I asked.
"Either it is gang violence or some personal vendetta from their past or current victims. We need to cover all scenarios." The female detective replied, her words couldn't be more precise.
"And I assume you want to question them?" I asked, my tone not so welcome. She hesitated for a bit. After all, what she was asking for was a stretch. Even if Kara found out everything, did she look like a woman who could hire someone to do that?
It wouldn't fly past the higher-ups so there would be no investigation of this connection. She needed consent.
However, as I said, pissing off the police wasn't a good idea. Behind the police was the D.A. The more I acted like an asshole, the more they would doubt me, and in doing so, Betty and her family.
If they caught the D.A.'s eyes, they would be in deep trouble. If not this, the D.A. would use something else to involve them. The district attorneys were, after all, looking for a nice victim to use as their ladder to success.
I paused for a little as if thinking about it before I turned to her and said, "You can have Kara Dawson's contact information, her cell phone records, and take a look into her financials. However, any information not related to this case cannot be reported in the paperwork. Otherwise, we will pursue legal actions."
I had already checked that all so there was nothing to worry about there. If there was anything else, then I could sue these detectives and with my resources, they wouldn't just be suspended.
The female detective nodded and said, "Of course."
I nodded, "Very well. I'm sure you can get the warrant on your own with the consent granted."
She nodded and left handing me her card. The male detective left with her as well, as silent as he was all the time.
"Are you sure that's all right?" Aunt Elsie asked once the police were gone.
I nodded and replied, "It is better to cooperate with them. They cannot look into anything unrelated as well. Besides, it is better to get them off Kara's back than have them linger and create trouble for her."
It wasn't just the legal matters we needed to worry about. If the police lingered in one place, there was a good chance the not-so-legal people would turn their heads in this direction as well. After all, the biker gang had a lot of connections as I learned last night.
And I happened to find something very, very interesting as well.
Aunt Elise nodded and said, "I'll leave it to you then. You know how to deal with such matters better."
Due to my wealth, and my properties, dealing with police was a norm. I knew how to deal with them best without offending them and also not revealing any key information.
Kara wasn't in a situation to engage in small talk and Betty and her sister didn't seem to be very collected as well.
"Why don't you guys stay here for the night?" I asked, mainly my aunt.
"No, my dad will be coming soon. After Betty's exams, we'll move to L.A. for some time." Kara replied. If I remember correctly, Kara's dad was in the military. Brigadier or something. With such an assurance, I nodded and said, "Very well then."
After that, there was just some small talk for some time, mainly over the issue but we didn't get into it too much because of the severity of the situation as well. After all, Kara had just found that she had been the target of the scam of a lifetime.
Sasha joined us after some time. No one asked her where she had been. Once she became aware of the situation, I didn't see the teasing Sasha anymore. I was surprised to see a mature Sasha who distracted Lizzie very well.
With everyone engaged, I also got into conversation with everyone. While we were conversing, Sara was looking at me weirdly. I didn't know what that was about but I didn't do anything about it. Maybe she suspected something about me and Sasha.
It made me a little unsettled, but I didn't know for sure so I decided to just act normal and thanks to Rox's memories, I was quite good at that.
Soon enough, around noon, a heavy-duty SUV came to the outside. It was Kara's father's car. The man didn't come inside, Kara went outside with her daughters.
I could see another car in the distance, another black SUV. It was well hidden and it didn't seem like a setup of a biker gang. These guys were professionals. Probably Kara's father's men. I didn't know and quite frankly, I didn't want to know. As long as Betty and her family were safe, I didn't care who did what.
Soon, we had lunch and thankfully, Sasha had to sit next to Mira during lunch. There was a visible pout on her face but she didn't say anything. I sat next to Sara who was still looking at me from time to time.
Once we were finished with lunch, I returned to my room after excusing myself. To be honest, Sara's gaze was troubling me a bit even with Rox's training.
As I arrived in my room, shortly after, there was a knock as well. I opened the door to find Sara on my doorstep. She looked at me suspiciously before she asked, "Tyler, can I come in?"
"Sure," I moved aside. She came inside and settled on my bed. Once she was seated, she looked at me and asked, "Tyler, what's going on?"
"Wh-what do you mean?" I asked.
I began to look around in slight panic, making sure there wasn't any sign of my and Sasha's earlier adventures. Sasha had cleaned, but I wasn't sure how well so there was obvious risk.
"I never told you Betty's stepdad was acting as a real estate agent." She said before she asked, "Tyler, did you have anything to do with what happened?"
