Lucy explained, "Zeref, the strongest, most ferocious, and evil black mage in the history of the wizarding world. He's said to have used magic to create living demons. Those demons are also known as the 'Demons of the Book of Zeref.'"
"I'm so hungry. Let me taste your souls."
Natsu turned to Lucy and said, "What?! Can souls be eaten too?! Are they delicious?!"
Lucy complained, "How would I know?! And don't look at me and drool!!"
"I originally wanted to let these guys blow the whistle, but I didn't expect so many people couldn't defeat just three of you. I guess I'll do it myself. I will swallow all your souls!!"
