"Yushi! Erza! Natsu! Happy! You guys went too far! You left me behind!"
Lucy was venting her frustration to Yushi and the others.
While they had fled, Lucy had been caught by the Magic Council's Ancient Knights due to her slower reaction.
She spent three days under interrogation while evidence was collected before finally being released.
Yushi and the others looked a little embarrassed at her outburst. The first general rule of the Fairy Tail Guild was simple: when the Ancient Knights come to arrest someone, run if you can and don't get caught on the spot.
If you were caught, regardless of fault, you'd be interrogated for at least half a day, and sometimes even a week. It was incredibly troublesome. If you avoided capture, you could simply submit a written statement later, like the documents the guild master received after the incident.
Unfortunately, they had completely forgotten that Lucy, a new and inexperienced member, was with them.
"Well! Every time you suffer, you gain wisdom. If you remember better this time, you'll know to run next time," Yushi said, trying to comfort Lucy.
Lucy glared at Yushi with resentment. Was that supposed to make her feel better?
Mira smiled and said to Lucy, "Lucy, you're in the limelight again this time. You single-handedly wiped out the entire Eisenwald Guild!"
"I'd rather not have this kind of attention!" Lucy groaned. The last time she and Natsu went on a mission, Natsu had destroyed everything while she was credited with the victory.
This time, it was even worse. She had done nothing, but when the reporters arrived, she was the only one caught, so her name was featured in the newspaper.
"Huh?" Yushi suddenly raised his eyebrows.
Mira noticed the change in his expression and asked, "What's wrong?"
Erza sensed it as well. "Uh... so sleepy... what is... this..."

Only Yushi and Master Makarov remained awake.
Footsteps echoed through the guild as a man entered. His face and body were completely concealed by black cloth.

"I don't like to be seen," Mystogan replied after a pause. He then walked to the task commission board and selected a mission to conquer the Volcano Demon, which had a reward of 1 million jewels.
He handed the task to Master Makarov and said, "I'm leaving now."
"Undo the hypnotic magic!" Makarov ordered, struggling to suppress his drowsiness.
Mystogan turned and walked out.
"Five, four, three, two, one..."
As Mystogan disappeared, nearly everyone in the guild woke up.
"This feeling... was it Mystogan?"
"That guy!"
"His hypnotic magic is still as strong as ever."
"Mystogan?" Lucy asked, still confused.
Loke explained, "Mystogan is one of the strongest mages in Fairy Tail."
Then, realizing he was talking to Lucy, he quickly backed away, startled.
Gray chimed in, "For some reason, he doesn't want people to see his face. That's why he puts everyone to sleep whenever he comes to pick up a mission. No one except Master Makarov and Yushi has ever seen Mystogan's face."
"What? Isn't that a bit too weird?" Lucy asked, perplexed.
Suddenly, a voice rang out from the second floor.
"Huh... I know it."
