Chereads / BOUND TO THE BILLIONAIRE CEO / Chapter 89 - CHAPTER 89

Chapter 89 - CHAPTER 89

In this household, Ethan's words were like imperial edicts.

As they watched him leave with Avery, the servants were completely hopeless. Though unwilling, they knew that Ethan never joked around. If he wanted them gone, they had no chance to plead their case.

Knowing that there was no hope of staying, the group sighed and left the living room to pack their belongings.

The servant who had been kicked to the ground by Ethan, Acai, was the same one who had appeared on the stairs with a dustpan and broom the previous night. He also knew that Ethan was determined to drive them away. After getting up, he followed the others out, and no one noticed the resentment hidden in his eyes.

After waiting for everyone to leave, Qin

went to the dining room a few minutes later and saw the woman sitting at the table, leisurely drinking soy milk and eating breakfast. After thinking for a few seconds, he narrowed his eyes and approached her.

"Miss Wells, may I ask if you need anything? If not, after you finish breakfast, please leave if you have to. The master doesn't like idle people in the house during the day."

"I do have something to do," Alexis stood up after taking a sip of soy milk, and her graceful figure walked slowly towards Qin . Looking at the elegant and beautiful woman in front of him, Qin maintained an official smile on his face. "Please tell me."

...

Avery followed Ethan to a hotel under the Blackwood family name for breakfast and brought a nutritious meal for Julian who was still in the hospital. After breakfast, she was about to go to school, but Ethan stopped her and took her to the doctor's office where she had her forehead stitched up.

"Today, I will have Chad ask for a leave of absence for you. The doctor from abroad arrived yesterday, so let him take a look at your wound first."

"What?"

Upon hearing this, Avery widened her eyes and showed a reluctant expression, indicating that she didn't want to take a leave. Ethan furrowed his brows and was about to get angry, "Listen to me."

Avery had to obey him, afraid that he would really get angry.

She didn't want to see him angry, but she was anxious when she thought about the fact that she had already delayed a lot of courses and had no clue about the design samples that the teacher had assigned in the past few days.

After arranging everything, Ethan went to see Julian and then left the hospital to deal with some matters at the company. Yesterday, he had taken over Wells industries and there were still many things that needed to be dealt with.

Not only did he have to personally supervise the decoration, but he also had to carefully select and transfer employees from the

Babel Group . In addition to this, he also had to recruit a new batch of people for the company .

Speaking of recruiting new people, Ethan remembered something. He picked up the phone and instructed Chad, who had just left the hospital after taking a leave for Avery, "After you finish taking a leave for Avery at school, go to a domestic service company and pick ten maids, one of whom can cook, and send them to the house."

In the underground parking lot, Chad had not yet gotten into the car when he received a call from Ethan. He confirmed again and again, "Do you want me to go to a domestic service company and pick ten maids for the house Sir? Doesn't the house already have maids? Why do we need to find more?"

"The ones at home have already resigned," Ethan said in a deep voice, "This time, you should find some who look like they just entered society and have clean and honest thoughts and actions. Also, pay them three times the original salary."

"Okay Sir, I'll take care of it right away."

Chad didn't ask any more questions and hung up the phone. He quickly got into the car and drove out of the underground parking lot. Shortly after the car left, in another car that had just parked, Gray slowly rolled down the window, leaned out, and watched the direction in which the car disappeared. A smile appeared on the corner of his lips.

"Sir, I have something to attend to and won't be at work today." After hanging up the phone, he quickly drove out of the parking lot.

An hour later, Chad went to the largest domestic service company in the capital.

"Sir, these are the ten maids and nannies you requested." The person in charge of the domestic service company pointed to the eleven people in the office and said to Chad. "Except for the nanny who has been in this industry for several years and has many years of work experience, the other people were selected according to your requirements."

Among the ten maids, five were female maids who had just entered society for less than two years. The domestic service company had records for all of them. The other five were male maids with relatively clean hands and feet, who had not done anything illegal or retaliatory.

Chad looked around and was quite satisfied with these people.

However...

When he saw the male maid who was about one meter and seventy centimeters tall standing among the male maids, Chad rubbed his eyes and said, "You, come out."

Seeing this, the person in charge asked, "Sir, is there a problem with this person?"

When she said this, the person in charge was actually very unsure.

This person who was called out by Chad had just applied for the job half an hour ago.

According to the company's regulations, it was not allowed for applicants to start working so quickly. But Chad requested five female maids, five male maids, and an experienced cooking nanny.

Experienced nannies and female maids were easy to find and were quickly found. As for the five male maids, the company had only found four, so they let this new applicant come along.

Chad looked up and down at the person in front of him and squinted his eyes, "Have we met somewhere before?"

"No sir, I'm Ryan Flynn. I just arrived in New York yesterday, so we haven't met before." The person lowered his head and answered respectfully.

"I see." Chad thought for a moment, and besides feeling a bit familiar, he had no other impression. He waved his hand. "Alright then, that's all. I'll come to take you to my place this afternoon. Third Master has arranged for your food and lodging, so I assume there won't be any problem with your salary." "However, if you work under Third Master, you must remember one thing, and that is to be loyal to him. If anyone dares to do anything sneaky under his nose, don't blame him for being ruthless. Do you understand?"

"We understand Sir."

Everyone replied in unison, except for a person named Ryan, whose voice was very small.

Ten minutes later, Chad left the domestic service company.

In the restroom.

A man answered the phone and said triumphantly to a woman, "Alexis, I've successfully infiltrated. I'm just waiting to go to the villa this afternoon. Don't worry, I'll help you get what you want. If you can't do it yourself, I'll do it for you."

"Be careful not to let Ethan find out it's you."

"Don't worry, I never fail in my work."

On the other end of the phone, Alexis replied, "Thank you for your hard work." But her face was full of disdain.

She didn't have much hope for Gray. Yesterday, he even fought with the bodyguards over the lawsuit, and although the Wells family managed to keep their business, they had to compromise. This was more heartbreaking than going bankrupt.

The most unreliable thing was that he had been working as an assistant in his uncle's law firm for two years, and he was only able to help others. What kind of future could such a man have?

He was only fit to be her pawn, to help her catch Ethan and pave the way for her.
