Kail slowly blinks as he adjusts to the light in the room, nothing looked familiar but he didn't panic. Kail was never one to show emotions anyway. He slowly sits up and takes in his surroundings.
"Are you okay?"
Kail turs around to see a boy around his age standing at the doorway, he looked nervous and worried.
"I'm really sorry" said the boy in a remorseful tone
Kail just gets up and grabs his bag and headphones he found laying on the bed
"Wait are you leaving?" He asked in a nervous tone as he blocks Kail's path. Kail narrows his gaze and speaks up
"I'm leaving" Kail's voice was barely audible and it made the boy tilt his head in confusion before his eyes widen in realization. He's heard of this attitude before
"Sorry I don't mean to pry but are you kail?" He asked as curiousity got the better of him . Kail narrowed his gaze further before nodding reluctantly.
" Oh my Gosh, I've heard so much about you. I'm Alex from class 2:1" Alex speaks up cheerfully with a wide smile showing off his canines which were slightly longer than usual making him look like a cat. Kail just shrugs, "cool" in the same tone, barely audible but Alex didn't think too much of it and let Kail leave after seeing the comfortable look Kail gave him. As kail exits Alex's apartment, he notices it's just a few blocks away from his. Kail ignores Alex's calls and goodbyes and simply puts on his headphone and walks back home like nothing happened.
Alex is the star athlete of the schools volleyball team so he was well built not like Kail wasn't either. Kail was also the school's popular artist, introverted and always spends his time in the club room. But after their first meeting fate seemed to always pair them together....
