Chapter 55 - Unwelcome

It started with a crack in the sky—a fissure that split reality itself. Blinding light poured through, and from the rift descended massive ships, their surfaces shimmering like liquid metal. The beings that emerged were unlike anything humanity had seen before.

They called themselves the Zodiacs, and their leader, Polind, proclaimed their arrival with a guttural, incomprehensible sound that sent shivers through the world's population.

"---->÷[×[-,@(@[#!"

The alien's voice resonated like a vibration in every human's bones. The global translation system kicked in, deciphering the words:

"I am Polind, leader of the 3rd Division. On your knees, humans!"

Wu-Ji's Last Stand

In Seoul, chaos erupted as the alien forces descended. High above the ruins of the city, Wu-Ji, now the General of Korea, stood in front of Kim Hansoo. His face was calm, but his voice carried a weight of urgency.

"Kid, run," Wu-Ji said, his Infinity Dagger glowing with a brilliant light.

Hansoo couldn't move, his legs trembling as he stared at the alien leader Polind, whose very presence seemed to crush the air around them.

Before Hansoo could even process what was happening, a small figure scurried forward—a hamster. It stopped and suddenly transformed, its body morphing into the familiar shape of the Rat, one of the ancient Zodiacs.

The Rat laughed, his voice dripping with dark humor. "Bastards, they came too early! Hahaha! Looks like we're in for a real party now."

Standing beside Gok, the Prime Minister, Rat smirked, looking up at Polind with a mixture of disdain and amusement.

The Fall of Wu-Ji

Wu-Ji charged at Polind, his dagger radiating a force so intense it seemed to bend reality itself. With a roar, he unleashed his most powerful attack—a devastating slash meant to cleave through anything in its path.

Polind didn't flinch. With a single flick of his hand, a wave of energy erupted from him, cutting Wu-Ji cleanly in half.

Hansoo's scream echoed through the battlefield as Wu-Ji's body disintegrated into fragments of light, scattering into the wind.

The alien Zodiacs laughed, their guttural voices filling the air with menace.

Gok's Fury

Polind's gaze shifted to Gok, who stood unmoving, his face shadowed.

"Humans," Polind said mockingly. "You are but insects beneath our feet."

Gok clenched his fists, his body trembling with rage. His voice was a low growl. "You've made a big mistake coming here."

Without warning, Gok's form began to shift. His skin darkened, his veins pulsing with dark energy. His eyes glowed a fierce crimson as his full Devil Form emerged.

"F*** OFF," Gok snarled.

With a roar, he launched himself at Polind, his power tearing through the air like a storm. The impact of his attack sent shockwaves rippling across the battlefield.

The World in Ruin

Despite Gok's efforts, the invasion was relentless. The alien Zodiacs were far beyond anything humanity could comprehend. In just seven hours, the world's combined military forces were overwhelmed, cities reduced to rubble, and governments toppled.

Hansoo watched in horror as the chaos unfolded around him. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. Everything he knew, everything he had prepared for, was falling apart.

The End of Hope?

As the dust settled, Hansoo found himself kneeling in the ruins of Seoul. Above him, Polind hovered, his presence radiating dominance.

"You dare resist us?" Polind sneered. "This planet belongs to the Zodiacs now."

Hansoo gritted his teeth, his hands clenched into fists. He could feel something stirring deep within him—a spark, faint but undeniable.

Gok stood battered but unbroken, his devilish aura flickering around him like a dying flame. He turned to Hansoo, his voice filled with grim determination.

"Kid," Gok said, his tone softer than before. "Escape"
