The declaration was met with confusion and fear. Across Korea, screens displayed the face of Prime Minister Gok, his expression grim.
"To all citizens of Korea: Our nation is under attack by a coordinated group of rogue Rankers. They have infiltrated and disrupted the MAD Tournament, endangering innocent lives. Effective immediately, all Rankers are subject to government oversight. Any unauthorized use of abilities will result in severe consequences. Stay vigilant. Stay safe."
A Fight Against the Odds
Back at the arena, Hansoo was struggling to keep up with the intruders' advanced abilities. One of them, a tall figure wielding a blade that shimmered with black energy, locked eyes with him.
