Emily makes her presence known in the meeting room, dressed in a yellow gown that compliments her hair and eyes and she could already feel that lustrous gaze on her that made her visibly cringe and flinch. Fool!
Queen: my lovely girl how was your night?
Emily: already looking like she could cry a fountain right now, rushed into her mother's arms hugging her tightly it's been so long mum she thought to herself. "My evening was fine mother"
Queen: oh I missed you too dear she said with a bright smile before turning her attention back to the third party "right, Emily dear, this is Duke Carlos"
Emily: flinched before looking at him in disgust and pity " oh welcome?" She spoke harshly and you could hear the venom dripping from her tone
Duke: he scoff internally but doesn't say anything "oh dear princess, you are even more delightful in person"
Emily: keep the honorifics on a minimum Carlos she glared daggers at him , making sure she got the message through people like you disgust me
The queen chuckled nervously as she pat the princess on the back with a warning smile
Queen: Emily please don't be so hostile she said with a nervous laugh as she turned to face the Duke "my apologies"
Emily just Scoffed angrily and got up abruptly slamming her hands on the table. At this rate I'll probably slip up and say that I know he'll kill the queen and abuse me.
Emily: I'm sorry mother I've just been feeling lightheaded lately
Queen: oh my! Then you should be in bed by now
