With Nataly gone, and the princess left alone with her thoughts , she taps her finger on the table continuously.
This can't actually be happening right. I heard about some dragon tales from my grandparents but I thought they were mere stories to keep me entertained . Why was I not aware of this. My father....a dragon and Ducke Carlos is also a dragon. Sounds like a made up story....but then again he always seemed to have that cold demeanor and lifeless gaze.
She nibbles on her fingernails as sweat beads form on her forehead. If it is true that the Duke is really a dragon...then haven't I offended the Royal blue dragons. She couldn't help but feel paranoid the thoughts just kept coming. This didn't happen last time! Did I do something to alter the past ? Will it affect the future? What did I do wrong this time?
Emily tries to remember what could have caused the past to suddenly reveal such a secret. In the past when the Duke came to visit she was clueless so she treated him like a father. They laughed and talked all day, but this time around she was really rude to him and she left the meeting instantly which gave her time to reflect on her father's words before passing. Could that be the reason.
If it is then I shouldn't feel bad for changing the past after all that was the goal, to change the past and change my destiny. But I never thought I'd uncover this truth.
Emily looks around her room , searching for a book her father left for her. Upon finding it, it was covered in dust and spider webs but she didn't have time to think about that. She quickly opened the book flipping through pages until she finds the one she was looking for Taming the beast . Written in bold letters, she brushes her hands over the words and images starts to flush into her mind. She saw a dragon being pierced by human with gold hair, then she saw a human with gold hair getting married to a dragon. Those two images kept replaying in her mind like a movie until it finally stopped! But a gentle voice then spoke "you must uncover the truth, tame the beast and change your destiny" Emily shuts the book and squirms away from it. Her hands shaking in fear, and she begins to sweat uncomfortably.
Emily: "uncover the truth, tame the beast and change my destiny" what is that supposed to mean? Emily run her fingers through her hair and sighs loudly. She quickly grabs the book again and began searching for the page but she couldn't find it. She frowns as she flips through the pages , upon finding nothing, she throws the book across the room, her face fumming with rage. Damnit!
