Chapter 126 - Chapter 126: The Diligent Genos

After eating his fill, Saitama leaned back in his chair with a satisfied expression. He had never tasted such delicious food before and nearly ended up licking the plates clean.

"Thank you so much for the meal. I didn't get a chance to introduce myself earlier—I'm Saitama," he said.

"I'm Han Yu," Han Yu replied with a smile, shaking his hand.

Thanks to the system in the general store, Han Yu could understand every visitor's language without any effort. The two were conversing in Japanese. While their names might be easy to confuse in Chinese, their Japanese pronunciations were distinct: Saitama's name was pronounced as Saitama, while Han Yu's name sounded like Kanfu in Japanese.

"By the way, how did you end up passed out in my store? Didn't have any food at home?" Han Yu asked curiously.

Saitama, who often scoured supermarket sales for cheap food, must have been starving for at least a day to end up in such a state.

"Ugh, don't even ask. It was because of a lunatic…" Saitama waved his hand dismissively, a helpless expression appearing on his otherwise stoic face. He seemed eager to skip the topic, but before he could, a voice suddenly rang out from behind him, making him stiffen.

"Saitama-sensei, there you are! I've been looking for you. Shall we continue training? Today's goals haven't been met yet."

Han Yu and Saitama both turned toward the restaurant's entrance. Standing there was a young man who looked to be about twenty.

The man's arms and legs were crafted from sleek, black metal. His eyes were devoid of whites, entirely black except for his yellow, circular pupils. He was unmistakably a cyborg, with striking and unique features.

This was Genos, Saitama's disciple.

"G-Genos, our training is pretty much done, don't you think? I just finished eating," Saitama stammered, inching his chair closer to Han Yu.

It wasn't that Saitama was afraid of Genos in a physical sense—he could easily overpower him—but because of an offhand comment he'd made about having free time. Since then, Genos had clung to him like glue, pestering him nonstop to teach him how to grow stronger.

While Saitama possessed extraordinary strength, he still needed to eat, unlike Genos. Over the past few days, Genos had relentlessly followed him, insisting on learning the secrets to becoming stronger.

Even the most steadfast foodie couldn't withstand such persistence.

Unable to shake off his disciple, and unwilling to fight him, Saitama resorted to running away. But no matter where he went—whether it was to rest or grab a meal—Genos would always appear like a shadow, dragging him back while exclaiming:

"Sensei, since you're free these days, I must take this chance to learn from you! Were you testing my speed just now? As expected of my teacher—so thoughtful! I won't let you down!"

Let me down?!

I never meant it that way in the first place!

Saitama's face twisted in despair, almost to the point of tears. Genos's eagerness to learn had reached an obsessive level, and his incessant questions left Saitama with no time to eat in peace.

Han Yu, observing Saitama's predicament, couldn't help but smirk. In his past life, he had found Saitama fascinating—a hero driven purely by interest, possessing world-shattering power yet always preoccupied with what might be on sale at the next supermarket special.

This stark contrast intrigued Han Yu. Since Saitama was a character he had admired in his past life, offering some help didn't seem like a bad idea. Clearing his throat, he said:

"Genos, right? You know it's not good to exercise right after a meal, correct? How about this—I'll have one of my associates spar with you. If he wins, you'll let your teacher, Saitama, have a break. If he loses… well, you can do whatever you want with your teacher. How does that sound?"

"Whatever I want…"

Saitama suddenly felt like Han Yu was no less of a devil. Though the suggestion sounded helpful, it somehow felt like he was being sold out.

Genos pondered for a moment. After glancing at Saitama, who indeed looked fatigued, he nodded. "Alright, that works. Sensei, are you okay with this?"

Saitama shivered under Genos's gaze. Sometimes, excessive eagerness to learn could be quite a burden.

Han Yu chuckled and led them to the storeroom. Initially, both Saitama and Genos were confused by the small door, which wasn't even tall enough to fit an average person comfortably. They wondered where Han Yu was leading them through such a narrow passage.

But once inside, their confusion turned to awe as they saw the space within—a vast, expansive area that defied their expectations.

"You'll fight here. Feel free to go all out; nothing you do here will affect the outside world," Han Yu said with a smile.

"Did we just leave the building? Weren't we on the second floor?"

Genos was stunned by the scene before him. It resembled an enormous "steel forest" with skyscrapers towering into the clouds. The streets looked just like those in a bustling city center.

Oddly, this seemingly central urban area was eerily devoid of people. There wasn't a single pedestrian, nor any sound of traffic—only an unsettling silence.

Seeing their bewilderment, Han Yu explained with a grin, "This is a space I created, specifically for me and my companions to test our abilities. Everything here was designed by them."

Han Yu himself had only recently discovered the versatility of this pocket dimension. He rarely entered it, but Quicksilver frequently used it to hone his skills.

To better simulate different combat scenarios, Ultron had utilized Earth's advanced technologies combined with Green Lantern energy to construct various settings within this space. The current scene was a virtual city center.

After explaining, Han Yu walked to the door and shouted upstairs, "Ultron! Come down—it's time to shake things up!"

Soon, the sound of lazy footsteps echoed from the stairs. Ultron appeared, rubbing his sleepy eyes, still dressed in pajamas, and looking thoroughly disoriented. He asked Han Yu, "What's going on?"

"Just come here," Han Yu said, retreating into the storeroom to wait.

Still unsure of the situation, Ultron yawned and headed toward the storeroom. As he approached, the door automatically adjusted to accommodate his height, allowing him to step inside effortlessly.

Genos frowned as the tall man in pajamas appeared. Turning to Han Yu, he asked, "Is this your associate?"

Ultron, still half-asleep and with his hair a complete mess, glanced at the unfamiliar faces of Saitama and Genos. The moment he entered the storeroom, he immediately understood what was happening—this space was typically used for sparring. If Han Yu had summoned him here, it was undoubtedly for a fight.

"Genos, you're up," Han Yu said with a smile, gesturing with open hands as if to say, Good luck.
