This is the section for anyone that's curious about certain things or aspects of the story that either were, or weren't explained explicitly through the story…and for the people who love to find out more about the worlds they're reading! (Trust me, I'm the same.)
In other words, this is my first publication…like. Ever. So, I'm pretty anxious and excited about everyone being able to read this! Hopefully you guys enjoy our favorite Dragonborn's adventures in the world of Sypher! Please make sure to keep up with the socials to see any updates in the near future…it would mean a ton to me!
But anyways, onto the extras!
Locations:
Riverant Village: Located east of the Auradelle Kingdom by the Eurus mountains, hometown of Dante and home to Rita's tavern, "Sylph's Whistle".
Auradelle: Kingdom located in the center of the Eastern Region, home to the Auradelle Magic Academy, where our story is currently taking place. A central place in the region where many decide to move in hopes for work, school and many different endeavors.
Heratil: A kingdom out west in the Eastern Region. A very upstanding and prosperous kingdom, has good relations with Auradelle.
Sylph's Whistle: Rita's tavern, built back when Dante was a baby. Rita took over the bar from Bernard when she was of age to drink. Taking the responsibility of making sure it was one of the most profitable areas in Riverant. Also where Rita and Dante lived for his years of youth.
Eurus Mountains: A wintery mountainscape east of Riverant, filled with spawned monsters and often a hunting ground for up and coming adventurers and mages. Also the location of where Dante was born.
Spells
Spells are pretty simple in the world, as they're usually pretty close to the wording. Perfect reproduction of the words is needed to cast the spell naturally.
Terrae Cavernae - "Earth's Cavern"
Inragavi - "Flood"
Summonoio - "Summon"
Ignis Buteo - "Firehawk"
Glacies Testaolis - "Ice Shard"
Vinea Flagellum - "Vine Whip"
Conus Spiralis - "Cone Spiral"
Polleniere - "Pollinate"
Aqua Ruptis - "Water Burst"
Ignis Lux - "Firelight"
Ignis Leo - "Fire Lion"
As you can see, the spells are cast in Latin, since it's a nice base to use as its closeness to English makes it somewhat easier to understand. (And to write.)
