Chereads / Kingoro Legend Of The Black Sword / Chapter 10 - The Hell Lion

Chapter 10 - The Hell Lion

Everyone drew their swords.

The atmosphere was thick with tension.

The ground beneath their feet trembled, as if the earth itself could feel the weight of the battle about to unfold.

Everyone stood ready.

Lawrence was fending off the Hell Lion's attack.

His sword met the beast's scythe in a powerful clash.

Kingoro watched in awe.

His eyes widened with admiration.

He had seen his father fight before.

But this time, it was different.

It was more refined, more powerful.

"Dad..." Kingoro whispered, still stunned by his father's strength.

But without warning, Yurio rushed forward.

A mischievous grin spread across his face.

"Dad, didn't you tell us this is a test of our strength?" He laughed loudly.

"Then, this is my fight!"

The moment his words left his mouth, the Hell Lion attacked.

Its scythe gleamed in the battle light.

But Yurio was ready.

His sword, resembling that of a samurai, shimmered with magical energy.

"Watch the real power, brother!" he shouted at the top of his lungs.

With a powerful slash, Yurio cut the lion's paw in half.

The beast staggered back, shocked.

But that wasn't all.

More monsters appeared.

There were 15 of them, all at level 15.

They attacked in perfect harmony.

Yurio didn't stop.

"Control Network Technique!" he yelled.

A magical vortex erupted from his sword.

An aura surrounded him, turning the battle into a strategic dance.

His swords became encased in a magical aura.

A magical circle, 20 meters wide, enveloped him, turning him into an unstoppable force.

The weaknesses of the monsters were now exposed to him.

The beasts began to retreat.

The accuracy of the allies' strikes increased by 10%.

The accuracy of the enemies' attacks dropped by 15%.

Yurio kept attacking.

He clashed with the monsters.

Striking with swift and precise blows.

Then, the decisive strike.

The Hell Lion finally fell to the ground.

But as everyone watched the battle unfold, Kingoro stood at the back.

He observed them carefully.

He followed the fight with unease.

"Maybe these are just weak compared to Yurio..." Kingoro thought to himself.

But suddenly, the monsters gathered for a unified attack.

One powerful strike could wipe out the kingdom's soldiers.

But Lawrence and Hans were watching.

Proud of Yurio's strength.

Hans said, looking at Yurio: "You're not the only one, Yurio, who has high power."

He drew his sword, a class A weapon.

It was a defensive type.

He raised it.

Unleashing a mighty strike.

A barrier formed between the attack and them.

Then he said with a confident smile, "Just because my sword is of a defensive type doesn't mean my offensive power is weak."

With his other hand, he began chanting a short spell:

"Sacred Light, defend me."

Suddenly, fire erupted from his sword.

The flames consumed the monsters in an instant.

The soldiers exclaimed in awe: "What power! Is this the strength of Lawrence Haskell's sons?"

But they noticed something else.

Kingoro was standing at a distance.

Holding his sword, but his eyes were filled with concern.

From behind him, a hidden monster emerged.

The attack was swift.

Kingoro wasn't ready.

The first blow was blocked by his shield, charged with magical energy.

But the second attack was stronger.

Kingoro felt the impact hit his body.

His sword clashed with the monster's scythe in a difficult struggle.

Kingoro felt the pressure mounting.

But suddenly, he felt something change.

He remembered his training with his teacher Asaka.

Every strike, every movement, every step.

"I won't give up," Kingoro whispered to himself.

He stood firm in place.

Then, with all his strength, he charged toward the monster.

He began applying all the techniques he had learned.

Kingoro attacked and blocked.

He struck the monster with calculated moves.

He managed to avoid its attacks.

But the monster was powerful.

Every hit hurt his body.

Kingoro felt the fatigue creeping in.

But he didn't stop.

"If I want to be strong, I have to overcome this." Kingoro thought as he raised his sword again.

The monster attacked again.

But this time, Kingoro was ready.

His movements became faster.

Gradually, he began to control the battle.

The monster was cornered.

But Kingoro was in pain.

His heart raced.

Wounds began to appear on his body.

But in the end.

With a swift movement, he brought the monster down.

The beast fell to the ground.

Kingoro breathed heavily.

He leaned on his sword for support.

"Alright, let's go to the next dungeon," Kingoro said.

Lawrence smiled as he watched his son.

Lawrence: "To the next dungeon."
