Chapter 1 - He is so handsome

Carsyn's POV

Oh my God!

It's already 8 a.m. How could I miss my alarm today? Seriously, today of all days! This is the day I've been eagerly waiting for.

No, it's not just me—almost all the girls in the university have been looking forward to this day.

Do you know why? Because it's Thursday.

Yes, you read that right. Just because today is THE THURSDAY!

Thursday means it's the day I have a class with my boyfriend. Haha, just kidding! He's not my boyfriend, but definitely the man I dream of as my future husband—Andreas Finley.

He's the most handsome man I've ever laid eyes on. At 28 years old, he's got a Greek god-like face with piercing blue eyes, stands a perfect 6'2", and has a body to die for. Add to that his devilish attitude and stern, never-smiling face—it's enough to make anyone's heart race.

Rumor has it he's worse than the devil himself, and that his profession as a professor is just a cover for some secret, dark business. I mean, who only teaches one class a week? Suspicious, right? But still, I don't care. Even if he's married, I can admire him from afar—no harm in looking, right?

All the girls in the university drool over him. His wife must be incredibly lucky. Oh, how I wish I were her—Carsyn Andreas Finley. Doesn't that sound perfect?

But wait! Oh no, I'm already late. I bet I won't get a seat in the first row. Oh God, please make Leo save me a spot in the front. Leo, my best friend, is such a nerd—he's always early. If he doesn't get me a seat, I swear I'll kill him!

---

Hi, guys! I hope you're enjoying my story.

Oh, I totally forgot to introduce myself. You must be wondering who this crazy girl is, babbling nonsense. Well, I'm Carsyn, a second-year MBBS student.

The moment I woke up and realized I'd missed my alarm, I didn't waste a second. I ran straight to the bathroom, toothbrush in hand. Midway, I stopped at the railing and yelled to my mom, "Mom, I'm running late! Can you please bring me breakfast in my room?"

As expected, her reply came in her usual scolding tone: "First, start behaving like a girl!" followed by a lecture I've heard a million times. I just rolled my eyes and dashed to the bathroom.

This "girl" lecture has been on repeat since fifth grade, when I got into a fight with a boy and my mom was called to school. Ugh, I don't even want to think about that day!

Anyway, since it's Thursday, I can't waste any time. I finished my bathroom routine, quickly grabbed my breakfast from my pink study table (thanks, Mom!), and smiled. No matter how much she nags, my mom is the sweetest.

I took a big bite of bread, gulped down some milk, and rushed to my closet—also pink, by the way. (Yes, my room is very pink, but we can talk about that later.)

I threw on a pair of skinny blue jeans and a white crop top, leaving just a little bit of skin showing. After struggling with my hair, I managed to pull it into a high ponytail. Looking in the mirror, I thought, Damn, I look sexy!

Breakfast done, bag packed, and socks found (thanks to my mom, who never fails to help me despite her endless scolding), I was finally ready. After a quick kiss and hug for my mom, I pleaded with my older brother, Jayson, to drop me at college. Of course, he agreed—but only after I promised to wash and iron his clothes for the week.

Jayson, with his smug smirk, is a total jerk. I love him, but sometimes I want to punch that Greek god-like face of his. He's a third-year student at the same college, which makes things even worse because I have to see him all the time.

Yesterday, we fought because I kicked his car door and called it trash after he let that witch Levana sit in the front seat instead of me. Levana is the campus queen bee—known for sleeping with seniors and now setting her sights on Jayson. She's the absolute worst, always making snide remarks when she sees

me.
