Ivonne's POV
It was past midday as I drove the car along the road according to Leonardo's directions and my knowledge of the map in the path that would surely lead us to the school.
We had returned to the pack lands and the familiar quiet but busy environment welcomed us after the rowdy human city. It had been a while I had been there and I surely welcomed the refreshing scene despite her crowded it was.
The car ride was a bit noisy as we munched on some snacks we had bought for the kids and drinks too. We had burned energy at the store and so we needed a refuel and to be a bit sugar high so we could manage the kids enthusiasm when we got there.
Even the mood in the car was set as the song 'let it go' from frozen played through the car's speakers. Every of us sang along excluding Leonardo of course who remained like a stuffed animal.
Speaking of stuffed animals, Lora didn't let the huge Olaf go. I peered at the rearview mirror and chuckled as 'Olaf' sat in between her and the other girls. Luckily they were all able to fit into the back.
"Anything the matter Luna?" She questioned as she caught me stealing a glance at her through the mirror.
"Nothing Lora," I smiled and focused my attention back on the road. "Is that it?"
"Yes," Leonardo replied as I pointed at a tall building in the distance. One thing I'd come to notice about the Moon Pack was the fact it was a modern and well developed pack.
Factories, office buildings and even a bank was situated in the city, even the hospital and gaming center were all designed to perfection. I had taken time to visit a few of the places mentioned however there was only little space I could cover in such little time.
I was even yet to visit Tobias million dollar construction company. Yeah it was shocking when I found out he was an architect and in the construction business, that explained why the Moon pack was the way it was.
"Oh my heavens!" Lora exclaimed as the car rolled towards a huge black gate which opened as we approached to a very large walled space.
Shock was written all over my face as my eyes were about to fall off their sockets and my mouth gaped in awe as I circled the shiny water fountain that sat in the middle of the vast compound.
"Welcome to the Moon pack's Kindergarten, Middle school, High school and College environment," Annalise announced with pride as I packed in front of the massive three-storied wide brick walled building. "This in front of you is the College of Excellence."
"Wow," I let out in admiration as I climbed down from the car after turning off the engine.
My brown eyes taking in the large building which was surrounded by other smaller looking but still large ones. All in the same brick wall architectural design, the scent of flowers which lined the foot of the buildings filling the air.
"To the left is the kindergarten and middle school, to the right is the high school," Janetta elaborated as I observed youngsters ranging from a few years old to pre adults as they played and walked around the space.
"Where do we start?" Leonardo inquired from behind me.
"The kindergarten of course," I grinned excited to meet the young pups. "I can't wait to meet those cuties."
"Kindergarten it is then," Leonardo blurted. "Next is the middle school."
"We didn't get anything for the high schoolers and college students," Lora frowned, her hands still wrapped Olaf's neck and she sure was gathering attention.
"That won't be a problem," I assured. "We'll speak with their principal and vice chancellor to decide what would be best to get for them. Or maybe what we can organize and do for them to make them elated."
"Good idea Luna," Annalise, said and I nodded.
"Okay it's time we offload," I turned to face my company. "Janetta, tell those men in the van to come help us out."
In less than two minutes, the buffy looking warriors appeared in my line of vision. No words were exchanged after, only sign indications as we all got busy carting everything towards our left.
The kids ran to us like a moth to a light and we smiled and waved at them while we continued our tasks. It took a while for all the gifts to be placed in a room that happened to be a hall and all the kids and pre-teens were gathered there by the teachers.
"Hello everyone," I said in a loud voice, standing on a make shift stage, my crew behind me as I greeted the youngsters. "Do you all know me?"
"Yes Luna," a cute chorus filled the air and I resisted the urge to pinch the cheeks of those closest to me.
"Awwwn I guess I'm popular," I mimicked a proud tone and did a signature hair flip which provoked some of them to burst out in a laugh.
"Don't you think?"
They all laughed and I was surprised to see the ever stoic looking Leonardo smile. I guessed miracles did happen. "So how have you all been?"
"Fine."
"Tired."
"Lisa made me angry."
"I didn't get my classwork right."
"Sad because mom packed vegies for lunch." "I just want to sleep."
"Wow," I let out in a laugh at the numerous responses I got from my audiences. "Well I have gifts here to cheer you up."
"It'll make you hyper not tired," I pointed at them. "It'll make you happy. It'll make you smile. I also brought snacks and candy too, but don't tell your mum."
"Yayy!" They bounced on their feet while the middle-schoolers just smiled. ^^^^^
"I was just about to send out a large search party for you," Tobias declared as soon as I walked into the living room and got rid of my shoes.
"Alpha," Lora and the girls acknowledged his presence with a bow while I settled in the couch adjacent to the one he sat on, dressed in a two piece lounge wear of a cotton brown vest and shorts.
"The kids didn't let us leave. Even when their parents showed up, they refused,"I murmured in a sigh. "It was practically a prison break plan before we could get out of there."
"Oh really," he raised a brow and nodded at the maids as they walked past. "What is this about going to the human city to shop?"
"We needed to get toys and stuffs for the children," I explained.
"What happened to Mr and Mrs Vans children store?" He interrogated, blue eyes pointed at me.
"They weren't open," I revealed, leaning my head back on the couch and rubbing my temples in a sign of exhaustion.
"That's a surprise," he frowned. "They never miss a day to open the store."
"Well they were not and——" I started but he stopped me by lifting a palm in the air.
"Sorry," he apologized as my brows crinkled in curiousity. "I was mindlinking someone to check on them."
"Wow," I let out in surprise. "You really care for your pack members."
"I do," he affirmed, tilting his head to the side.
"I never expected you to be this kind," I blurted with all sense of honesty.
"I also never expected you to be this stubborn," his lips curled in a smirk. "Makes me want to do crazy things to you for disobeying me twice in one day."
