The Luna stood in the doorway, fury blazing from her eyes. Lucky could practically feel her skin getting hotter, though she knew that was her imagination. Her claim about her father's permission only seemed to infuriate the Luna more. Lucky had dropped the diary, hoping it wouldn't be noticed. She needed the words on those pages, and Luna Gina would surely burn it if she knew about it. Using her foot, she slid the diary under the bed. She couldn't let it be discovered. She decided to play nice.
