Chapter 1 - How it all began

Author here: Yo, Merry Christmas to all of You!!! 🎉🎉🎉 I came up with this Idea and I hope you enjoy it, If you do, please drop a Powerstone. I wish to reach a good rank in the Power ranking or any Ranking to be frank, but Power is what you can help me with, right?

This Story is about the early lore of Dragon Ball, so far far before Beerus or Goku, I don't believe I'll even have them in here, but if you want them here, just tell me in the comments and comment on how good you liked this Chapter (I'll be very sad if you didn't like it). Let's start:

In the beginning, there was nothing. No stars to guide the void, no worlds to breathe life into the infinite, and no time to mark the existence of what could be. The silence was absolute, unbroken, and perfect in its simplicity. Then, from the depths of this void, a thought emerged, a flicker of awareness that grew brighter with each passing moment.

This was the birth of Zeno-sama, the King of All. A being neither born of light nor darkness but of existence itself, Zeno was both the origin and the end. His childlike curiosity sparked the creation of the first multiverse, a grand experiment of beauty and chaos. From his will sprang eighteen universes, each one a canvas painted with the vibrant hues of creation. To maintain balance, Zeno created the Angels, beings of supreme wisdom and power who would serve as neutral caretakers and guides.

But creation was not without its flaws. Mortals, with their greed, hatred, and ambition, often tipped the scales toward chaos. To counter this, Zeno decreed the need for enforcers of order—Gods of Destruction, beings who would wield the authority to obliterate anything that threatened the delicate equilibrium of existence. Thus began the search for the first generation of Destroyer Gods.

On the remote planet of Exalon, a desolate world with an exotic blend of terrains—verdant jungles meeting arid deserts, icy tundras bordering steaming volcanic plains—a figure trudged through the wilderness. He was a Saiyan hybrid, part Frost Demon, part warrior, a genetic anomaly that bore the worst of both worlds.

He had no name. Names were for those who mattered, and he mattered to no one. He had been cursed from birth, hated by the Saiyans for his Frost Demon blood and despised by the Frost Demons for his Saiyan lineage. His parents were long dead—his Saiyan mother executed by the first King Vegeta, his Frost Demon father slain in an act of betrayal before he was born.

He had grown up malnourished and weak, ridiculed and beaten by the Saiyans for his peculiarities. He couldn't transform into a Great Ape like them, nor did he possess the regal cruelty of the Frost Demons. His existence was an insult to both races, and so he fled, wandering the galaxy in search of something—anything—that would give his life meaning.

Now, on Exalon, he had sunk to his lowest point. He had robbed a supply outpost, slaughtering its inhabitants without hesitation. "The strong are right," he told himself. "That's the only truth in this universe." He stared at his bloodied hands, feeling nothing—no guilt, no satisfaction.

Suddenly, his senses flared. A chill ran down his spine, and his instincts screamed at him to move. In an instant, two lanky figures materialized in front of him, their movements unnaturally smooth. They wore identical cloaks that obscured their forms, the only visible features being their glowing eyes.

Before he could react further, one of them lunged. He dodged instinctively, his body moving faster than his mind could comprehend. He struck out, but his attacks were meaningless—they moved as if the concept of harm didn't apply to them.

The battle, if it could be called that, was brief. One of the figures struck him in the chest, and his vision went dark.

When he woke, he didn't move. Years of surviving in the underbelly of society had taught him the value of observing before acting. His eyes remained closed, his breathing steady as he listened.

A voice rang out, powerful yet calm. It filled him with unease.

"You eighteen are candidates for something new and revolutionary," the voice declared. "We shall bring balance and order to this multiverse. You are candidates for the position of Destroyer God—or Hakaishin—for short. Any questions before we begin?"

The room erupted with murmurs.

A shaky, high-pitched voice broke through the noise. "Who even a-are y-you? We don't even know you! Why should we trust you? And what the heck's a Destroyer?"

Another voice, this one deep and defiant, added, "Yeah! Why should we even comply? This is way too shady."

The murmurs grew louder until the voice silenced them with a single command. "Enough."

"I am the Grand Priest," the voice explained, "and I am the right hand of Zeno-sama, the King of All. You have been brought here because each of you possesses the potential to become a God of Destruction. Your purpose will be to maintain balance in the universe assigned to you, working alongside your Angel attendant and Supreme Kai."

The hybrid listened intently, his mind racing. A God of Destruction? Balance? What did any of this have to do with him?

The Grand Priest gestured, and the Angels entered. They were immaculate beings, their auras radiating elegance and serenity. The female Angels carried an air of refinement, while the males exuded quiet strength.

"You will now undergo the ritual of deification," the Grand Priest announced. "Sit, hold this egg in your left hand, and prepare yourself to receive the Destroyer essence."

The hybrid hesitated. He didn't trust any of this, but refusing wasn't an option. As he sat with the others, the room filled with a palpable energy.

When the Destroyer essence touched him, his body reacted violently. His Saiyan and Frost Demon blood raged against each other, and he transformed. His muscles swelled, his hair spiked upward and turned green, and his aura flared with a mix of golden, purple, and silver. His body gained sleek, crystalline protrusions, and the unmistakable energy of Ultra Instinct coursed through him.

The others stared in awe and fear. His transformation was unlike anything they had ever seen.

The ritual completed, an egg in his hand cracked open, revealing a Kaioshin—a beautiful woman with pink skin and a radiant aura. She smiled at him, her presence filling the room with warmth and love.

The Angel Vados stepped forward, addressing the Grand Priest. "Father, I would like to be assigned to this one."

The Grand Priest nodded. "Very well. You shall serve as his Angel attendant for Universe 7."

And so, the Saiyan hybrid—now named Caelix by the Grand Priest—began his journey as a Destroyer God. But deep within, he still harbored doubts, anger, and an emptiness that even the power of a god could not fill.

The air around them shimmered as they traveled through the void of Universe 7. Caelix sat in silence, his piercing green eyes scanning the infinite expanse of stars. Beside him, Vados, his Angel attendant, observed him with quiet fascination. The Kaioshin assigned to his universe, Elyssia, hovered nearby, her warm pink aura glowing softly against the cold darkness of space.

Elyssia's name was fitting—it carried with it the weight of creation, a melody of life and love. Her voice was gentle, almost musical, and her presence exuded a maternal warmth that softened even the harshest edges of existence. Despite her outward calm, she couldn't help but steal glances at Caelix. He was a storm barely contained, a tempest of anger and sorrow wrapped in the stoic demeanor of a warrior.

Vados, ever the observer, studied her new Destroyer. At first, his speech was halting and reserved, as though he were calculating every word. But after only a short time of listening to her and Elyssia converse, his tone shifted. His words became balanced, refined, almost elegant. He mimicked the cadence of her speech with uncanny precision, speaking in a manner that mirrored her father, the Grand Priest, but infused with his own intensity.

She tilted her head slightly, a small smile playing on her lips. "You adapt quickly," she remarked, breaking the silence.

Caelix's gaze flicked to her, his expression unreadable. "Survival demands it," he replied simply.

Elyssia's voice joined the conversation, warm and soothing. "But adaptation isn't just survival, Caelix. It's growth, evolution. It's the heart of creation." She placed a hand on her chest, as though to emphasize her point.

He didn't respond, but the faintest flicker of something crossed his face—curiosity, perhaps? Elyssia noted it and made a silent vow to nurture whatever small spark of humanity remained within him.

As they drifted through space, Vados came to a stop, holding her staff upright. The orb at its tip glowed faintly, reflecting the light of nearby stars.

"This seems as good a place as any," she said. She turned to Caelix, her tone polite yet inquisitive. "Now, tell me, Destroyer, what would you prefer for your domain? Do you have any preferences for the planet you'll reside on?"

Caelix thought for a moment, his gaze distant. "Something vast," he said finally, "with the endless expanse of space. Quiet. Cold. The void itself."

Elyssia chuckled softly, a sound like the rustling of leaves in a spring breeze. "You truly are a creature of the cosmos," she said. "But trust us for this one."

Vados giggled as well, a rare sound that carried an almost playful note. "Indeed, you'll find we Angels excel at creating spaces that meet even the most demanding tastes."

Vados raised her staff, and the orb began to glow brighter. Elyssia stepped forward, her hands extending as she joined her energy with the Angel's. Together, they shaped the fabric of reality, bending the very essence of the universe to their will.

A planet began to form before them, rising out of the void like a dream brought to life. Its surface was a breathtaking blend of terrains, each one harmonious yet distinct. Towering mountains wreathed in mist stood beside vast oceans that shimmered with colors unseen in mortal worlds. Fields of vibrant, otherworldly flowers stretched into the horizon, their soft glow illuminating the twilight skies.

Above it all, two moons hung in perfect balance, their light casting a serene glow over the land. The air itself seemed alive, imbued with an energy that was both calming and awe-inspiring. It was a place of unparalleled beauty, yet beneath its tranquil surface lay an undercurrent of power—a destructive potential that mirrored Caelix's own nature.

Elyssia turned to Caelix, her expression gentle. "It's not quite the void you envisioned, but we thought this might be... suitable."

Caelix stepped forward, his boots touching the soft grass of the planet's surface. He knelt, running his hand through the soil, feeling the life that pulsed beneath it. For a moment, he was silent.

"It's… acceptable," he said finally, though there was a hint of something else in his voice—reluctant approval, perhaps.

Elyssia smiled, her pink eyes sparkling. "I'll take that as a compliment."

Vados hovered nearby, her staff resting lightly in her hand. "This planet was designed to reflect you, Caelix. It's a place of balance—creation and destruction in perfect harmony. Those who step foot here will feel at peace, yet they will also understand the power that resides within this domain."

Caelix nodded, his gaze fixed on the horizon. For the first time in years, he felt something akin to calm.

As they began to explore the planet, Elyssia couldn't help but remain close to Caelix. She asked him questions, not out of curiosity but out of a genuine desire to understand him. "Do you ever miss your home? Your people?"

He didn't answer immediately. When he finally spoke, his voice was low. "I have no home. No people. I am what I need to be to survive."

Elyssia's heart ached for him, but she didn't press further. Instead, she decided to show him kindness in small ways, whether by preparing meals infused with her energy of creation or by sharing stories of other worlds she had nurtured.

Vados, meanwhile, observed them both with her usual detachment, though she couldn't deny her intrigue. Caelix's ability to adapt, his rapid learning, and his raw power made him a fascinating subject. But it was Elyssia's unwavering warmth that truly intrigued the Angel. Perhaps, she thought, there was hope for this broken soul after all.

As night fell on the planet, the two moons cast their light over the land, bathing it in a serene glow. Caelix stood alone on a cliff, gazing at the stars. Elyssia watched from a distance, her heart filled with a quiet determination. She would help him heal, no matter how long it took.

Vados floated nearby, her staff glowing faintly. "This is just the beginning," she said softly, more to herself than anyone else. "Balance will come, one way or another."

And so, the trinity of Destroyer, Kaioshin, and Angel began their journey, each one carrying their own burdens and their own hopes for the future.

As the serene twilight of their newly-formed planet set in, Vados gathered the trio beneath the towering canopy of a crystalline tree that glimmered faintly under the twin moons. Caelix stood with his arms crossed, his sharp features illuminated by the soft light. Elyssia sat on a smooth stone nearby, her curious pink eyes fixed on Vados.

The Angel, ever poised and elegant, began to speak. "Before we proceed with the establishment of Universe 7, there are essential matters to address. You both must understand your roles, the laws that govern us, and the basics of your own existence. Without these foundations, chaos would surely reign."

Caelix gave a quiet scoff but said nothing. His silence didn't escape Vados, who arched an eyebrow but continued.

"Let us begin with you, Caelix." She turned her staff slightly, its orb glowing as an intricate diagram appeared in the air. The diagram depicted the cosmos, a balance of light and dark, creation and destruction.

"You are a Destroyer God, or Hakaishin. Your duty is not to destroy for pleasure or vengeance but to maintain the balance of the universe. Creation cannot flourish without destruction, and life cannot thrive without death. It is your responsibility to eliminate those who threaten this balance, whether they are civilizations, planets, or even individuals."

Caelix's green eyes narrowed. "Balance... another word for control," he muttered.

Elyssia spoke up gently, her voice soothing. "It's not about control, Caelix. It's about harmony. Without destruction, the universe would spiral into chaos, overrun by unchecked growth. Your role is as vital as mine."

"And what is yours?" he asked, his tone laced with skepticism.

Elyssia straightened, her aura glowing faintly. "As a Supreme Kai, or Kaioshin, I am the counterbalance to you. My purpose is to create, to nurture life, and to guide the mortal realms toward peace and prosperity. While you destroy what is corrupted, I foster what is pure."

Vados nodded approvingly. "The two of you are two halves of the same whole. Without one, the other cannot exist. A Destroyer without a Kaioshin to create would have nothing left to destroy. And a Kaioshin without a Destroyer to protect her creations would see them overrun by entropy."

Caelix was silent, his expression unreadable. Vados studied him for a moment before continuing.

"There are laws that govern even gods," Vados said, her tone growing more serious. "First and foremost: neutrality. You are not to interfere with mortal affairs unless absolutely necessary. Your role is to guide and maintain balance, not to rule over or dictate their lives."

She began pacing gracefully, her staff tapping lightly against the ground. "Second, respect for the hierarchy. Zeno-sama is the ultimate authority, followed by the Grand Priest, the Angels, and then the gods. This hierarchy ensures order across the multiverse."

Elyssia raised a hand timidly. "But what about us? Do we not answer to each other?"

Vados smiled. "You are equals in your respective roles. But remember, a Kaioshin's life is tied to the Destroyer of their universe. If one of you falls, so does the other. This is why cooperation and trust between you are paramount."

The words hung in the air, and Elyssia's gaze softened as she glanced at Caelix. She wondered if he understood the gravity of their bond—or if he cared.

Vados turned her attention back to Caelix. "Now, as for you. It's clear that your survival has been forged through sheer skill and observation. Admirable, but insufficient for a god. You must learn to harness your divine energy—your God Ki—and wield it with precision and restraint."

She waved her staff, conjuring a sphere of glowing energy that hovered between them. "This is God Ki. It is what separates gods from mortals. Unlike mortal energy, it cannot be detected by ordinary means. It is refined, controlled. And it will amplify your power far beyond its current limits."

Caelix reached out, his hand brushing the sphere. A faint ripple of energy coursed through him, making his green hair shimmer with a silver hue. He pulled back, his expression contemplative.

Elyssia, meanwhile, listened intently as Vados explained the basics of divine creation. The Angel demonstrated how to mold energy into forms, creating a small flower that glowed with ethereal beauty. Elyssia tried to mimic the action, her hands glowing with pink light as she shaped the energy into a tiny bird. It chirped once before dissolving into sparkles.

"You're a natural," Vados said with a smile.

As the moons rose higher in the sky, fatigue began to settle over the trio. Vados noticed Elyssia stifling a yawn and gestured toward a clearing where soft grass formed a natural bed.

"You've both had enough for one day," she said gently. "Rest is as vital for gods as it is for mortals, especially when so much is new."

Elyssia lay down first, her aura dimming as she drifted off to sleep. Vados sat nearby, her staff glowing faintly as she watched over them.

Caelix hesitated, standing on the edge of the clearing. His gaze flicked between the two women, his expression unreadable.

"Come, Caelix," Vados said softly. "Even gods need solace."

Reluctantly, he lay down, his posture rigid at first. But as exhaustion overtook him, he relaxed slightly, his breathing steadying. Elyssia stirred in her sleep, her hand brushing against his arm, and for a moment, he didn't pull away.

Vados smiled faintly, her staff dimming as she lay down beside them. The three of them, so different yet bound by fate, shared the quiet peace of the night. For the first time in a long while, the weight of their roles seemed distant, replaced by a fleeting sense of unity.

And under the light of the twin moons, the unlikely trinity of Destroyer, Kaioshin, and Angel found rest together, their journey only just beginning.
