Chapter 3 - The First Summit of the Multiverse

The passage of a million years had refined Caelix into a god of extraordinary wisdom, strength, and clarity of purpose. Under Vados' tutelage, he had mastered the intricate dance of destruction and creation, the subtle art of divine politics, and the delicate judgment required to guide his universe. Elyssia, too, had grown into a graceful and wise Supreme Kai, embodying compassion and balance. Together, the trio presented a cohesive, powerful front—united in purpose and skill.

For the occasion of the Grand Zeno's summit, Caelix had designed elegant outfits for himself, Vados, and Elyssia. Their attire was a harmonious blend of ancient Greek aesthetics and celestial splendor. Flowing togas with nebula-like accents swirled with vibrant, otherworldly hues. Ornaments highlighted their divine roles: Caelix's black and violet sash bore the mark of destruction, complemented by the customary earpiece; Vados' attire gleamed with angelic swirls, and her staff now carried intricate engravings symbolizing her dedication; Elyssia's remodeled Potara earrings shimmered with the symbol of creation, alongside her redesigned Time Ring. Their outfits also carried a subtle touch of the design of Espada and Akatsuki uniform even though they knw not of their existence, giving their outfits—a touch of sharpness and unity.

Holding onto Caelix's back, Vados and Elyssia teleported with him to the Planet of the Grand Zeno, using the Kai Kai ability. They appeared in an expansive, crystalline courtyard, where the Grand Priest awaited with a serene smile.

As the first to arrive, the trio marveled at the surroundings. Zeno's guards stood resolutely, their aura intimidating but serene. Caelix approached them with a confident stride.

"Do you remember me?" he asked with a slight smirk. "I'd like to see how I measure up now."

The guards remained silent until the Grand Priest spoke. "Perhaps it would be wise to test him. His growth has surpassed even the expectations of the Angels."

The sparring was brief but explosive. Caelix moved with a speed and precision that matched the guards' divine techniques. While they still held the upper hand, they acknowledged his significant growth—a stark contrast to his earlier days when a single strike had felled him.

Soon, the other universes' gods began to arrive. One by one, they filed into the grand hall, a space that seemed to stretch infinitely, its floors reflecting the cosmos itself.

As Caelix observed the gathering, he was struck by the stark differences among the gods, angels, and Supreme Kais of the 18 universes. Unlike his tightly-knit bond with Vados and Elyssia, the other triads were fractured and tired.

Universe 1:

Destroyer: Solidor, a tall and regal being with golden skin, exuded arrogance.Angel: Saera, poised and patient, seemed to tolerate Solidor's ego.Supreme Kai: Tarlith, a thin, bookish figure, avoided eye contact and muttered complaints.

Universe 2:

Destroyer: Felena, a feline deity with sharp wit but visible exhaustion.Angel: Aloya, cheerful but distant, clearly holding the team together.Supreme Kai: Velor, who appeared more interested in grooming his elaborate hair than the summit.

Universe 3:

Destroyer: Gaimir, a lumbering, mechanical figure, communicated in grunts.Angel: Arcis, efficient but cold, ignored her companions.Supreme Kai: Plintor, a diminutive Kai who seemed perpetually overwhelmed.

Universe 4:

Destroyer: Raegen, a shadowy figure with a brooding demeanor.Angel: Syro, stoic and detached.Supreme Kai: Iresa, who glared at Raegen with disdain.

(Descriptions continue through Universes 5–18, each triad displaying varying levels of dysfunction, laziness, or outright animosity.)

Caelix noted how most Destroyers deferred to their Angels or Supreme Kais to deliver reports, citing exhaustion or disinterest. The disjointedness of the divine hierarchy was palpable.

The Grand Priest raised his staff, and the hall fell silent.

"This marks the first Divine Summit, convened to assess the progress of each universe after a million years. Our purpose is to reflect on your accomplishments and challenges, share wisdom, and strengthen unity across the realms."

He glanced across the room. "We will begin with volunteers. Or, if none step forward, we shall proceed from Universe 1 to Universe 18."

Caelix stepped forward, his deep voice resonating. "I will begin."

Caelix's Report:

Caelix delivered a concise and confident report, detailing the harmonious balance he had cultivated in his universe. He highlighted key achievements, including the high Mortal Level, efficient destruction and creation cycles, and the flourishing of life under Elyssia's guidance.

The other gods watched with a mixture of awe and disdain, some murmuring bitter comments. The Grand Priest nodded approvingly, and Zeno clapped his hands with childlike delight.

As the other universes presented their reports, it became evident that most were struggling. Complaints of exhaustion, laziness, and discord were rampant. Destroyers passed off their responsibilities to Angels and Supreme Kais, further exposing the fractures in their triads.

At the end of the summit, Zeno approached Caelix. Unlike the other gods, who bowed deeply in fear, Caelix bowed respectfully but warmly, exuding an air of approachability.

"You're fun!" Zeno said with a giggle. "Your universe is doing really well. Keep it up!"

"Thank you, Grand Zeno," Caelix replied, his tone reverent but calm.

After the meeting adjourned, Caelix approached the Grand Priest.

"I wish to train under you," he said. "I've learned much, but there's still more to master. I want to ensure my universe remains the best it can be."

The Grand Priest regarded him thoughtfully. "Your ambition is commendable, Caelix. However, the other universes are in chaos. I must focus my efforts on restoring balance. Return to me in ten years, and I will consider your request."

Caelix bowed deeply. "Thank you. I will continue to improve in the meantime."

As they returned to their home planet, Vados and Elyssia walked beside Caelix. Despite the tension and animosity displayed by the other universes, their bond remained strong—a testament to their shared growth and purpose. The summit had revealed much, and Caelix was determined to use the lessons learned to elevate not just himself, but his entire universe.

The home planet of Caelix, Vados, and Elyssia was a masterpiece of balance and vitality. Its serene beauty mirrored the harmony the trio sought in their divine duties. But this day, their goal was far beyond governance or mortal affairs. They gathered in the heart of the celestial gardens to train—a training unlike any other, one that aimed to combine the distinct energies of a Destroyer, Supreme Kai, and Angel into a single harmonious force.

"Combining Destroyer Ki, Angelic energy, and Supreme Kai creation energy isn't just rare—it's unheard of," Vados explained, standing with her staff poised elegantly. "But if anyone can achieve it, it's the three of us. Our bond is unique."

Elyssia nodded, her expression eager. "We've worked so well together in all aspects. I believe we can make this happen."

Caelix crossed his arms, his aura already flickering with a mix of violet destruction energy and golden divine energy. "Let's start. What's the first step?"

Vados smiled faintly. "The first step is synchronization. Our energies are fundamentally different. We need to align our intentions, breaths, and flows before attempting anything more complex. Elyssia, you'll begin with a burst of creation energy. Caelix, you will temper it with your destruction. I will act as a stabilizer, binding the forces."

The trio assumed their positions, forming a triangular formation. The air around them hummed as their energies ignited. Elyssia's energy shimmered like sunlight on water, gentle and nurturing. Caelix's Destroyer Ki crackled with raw, violet intensity. Vados' Angelic energy flowed like a serene river, binding the two together.

Elyssia focused, her hands extending outward as golden energy swirled between her palms. "Creation is the essence of life," she murmured, releasing a radiant orb of energy toward Caelix.

Caelix caught the energy in his hands, his own violet aura surging to meet it. "Destruction is necessary for balance," he intoned, compressing Elyssia's energy with his own. The energies sparked and sizzled, resisting their union.

"Easy now," Vados advised, her tone calm but firm. She extended her staff, her Angelic energy weaving between the two conflicting forces like an intricate thread. Slowly, the energies began to stabilize.

The trio's combined aura formed a swirling vortex of gold, violet, and silver, radiating an overwhelming pressure. The planet itself trembled under the strain, but the balance held.

As they continued, Caelix's energy flared unexpectedly. The training session was interrupted by a sudden realization. He had visited a planet recently, saving its inhabitants from an energy-devouring entity. In their gratitude, they had shared with him their ancient magic—a technique that allowed one to absorb and repurpose any form of energy.

"I think I can take this further," Caelix said, his voice laced with determination. He extended his hand, and the combined energy of the three began to flow into him. The absorption wasn't a violent consumption but a seamless integration, as if the energies were drawn to him naturally.

"Careful, Caelix," Vados warned, her eyes narrowing. "That's uncharted territory."

"I can handle it," he replied, his voice calm. The energy flowed into him completely, and his aura changed. It was no longer just violet or gold—it shimmered with hues of silver, blue, and green, a kaleidoscope of divine power. His presence felt overwhelming, as if he had transcended his own limitations.

Vados stepped forward, her expression curious yet cautious. "Let's test this newfound ability of yours."

She struck first, her staff glowing as she unleashed a concentrated beam of Angelic energy. Caelix raised his hand, absorbing the attack effortlessly. The energy dissipated into his form, leaving him untouched.

Elyssia followed, summoning a surge of creation energy. It too was absorbed, its power adding to Caelix's growing reservoir.

Vados tilted her head. "Impressive. But can you handle the true test?" With a flick of her wrist, she summoned a burst of energy that combined her Angelic power, Elyssia's creation energy, and a fraction of Caelix's own Destroyer Ki.

The force was monumental, shaking the heavens. Caelix braced himself, extending both hands as the energy collided with him. There was a brief struggle, the ground beneath him cracking, but he absorbed it all. His aura burned brighter than ever, his power now towering above anything they had seen. "It's my energy, I should be able to handle it, no?" he thought in the nick before it dispersed.

Vados lowered her staff, her expression unreadable. "You've become something extraordinary, Caelix. The ability to absorb any energy… It makes you almost invincible."

Elyssia stepped closer, her face filled with admiration. "It's not just the power—it's how you've learned to control it. You've truly mastered balance."

Caelix exhaled, his aura fading to a subtle glow. "It's thanks to both of you. Without your guidance and support, I wouldn't have come this far."

Vados' small smile returned. "You're more than a Destroyer now, Caelix. You're a force of balance. But remember, power without purpose is dangerous. Use this wisely." to which Caelix responded with an "I know."

As the sun set over their planet, the trio sat together, their bond stronger than ever. They had taken a step into the unknown, forging a new path in the annals of divine power. And with Caelix's newfound abilities, they were ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
