Jason walked through the Ravenclaw common room toward breakfast, his mind a full of thoughts.

Step one is complete, he thought, nodding to himself. I've establish myself among the first-year Ravenclaws. Getting Josh to warm up was a challenge—pureblood pride and all that—but he's coming around. Now I just need to cement my place as someone having worth . Ravenclaws always follow where they see their interests align. I just need to make it sure they see their interest with me .

He paused at the foot of the staircase, sighing as he adjusted his robes.

But what about the girls? They're another challenge entirely. They're not like the boys—they're more ruthless, more calculating. While boys chase glory and prestige, girls have a way of seeing through to their own desires and acting on them with precision. And gossip… He shuddered at the thought. It's a powerful weapon. One wrong move, and you're up against the opinions of an entire house.

Jason took a deep breath. Hogwarts is a battlefield, and I'll need all the allies I can get. Gryffindor has always lead light and Hufflepuff follows anyone with leadership. Slytherin's cunning is duller these days malfoy ruining the name with crabe and goyle , but Ravenclaw? They would bite if their interests aren't met.

Before Jason could spiral further into his mental chessboard, Simon's voice cut through his thoughts.

"Hey, Jason! Did you hear? Harry's become the youngest Seeker in Hogwarts history."

Jason blinked, Simon's words breaking the fog in his mind. "No way! Let's go find him and congratulate him."

Tobi, who had just caught up to them, chimed in eagerly, "Let's go! I'd love to be a Seeker one day."

Simon raised an eyebrow. "You? Nah, mate. I'm going to be Ravenclaw's Seeker."

Tobi scoffed. "In your dreams. It'll be me!"

Josh and Vik, walking behind them, exchanged glances and spoke in unison, "What's so great about quiditch?"

They paused, looked at each other in surprise, and grinned. "Oh, brother," they said simultaneously, shaking hands as if they'd just found a kindred spirit.

Jason rolled his eyes. "Don't be dramatic. Look, Simon and Tobi are already running ahead. Come on."

The group caught up to Harry near the Gryffindor table, where Ron stood beside him. Jason stepped forward, flashing a warm smile.

"Hey, Harry! Congratulations on becoming Seeker, mate. That's incredible."

Harry's face turned red as he sheepishly accepted their congratulations. "Thanks. It's, uh, a bit overwhelming, really."

Simon leaned in, his curiosity piqued. "How'd you manage it, Harry? First years never make the team."

Tobi added, "Yeah, tell us!"

Harry shifted uncomfortably under their expectant gazes. "Well…"

Ron, sensing his friend's hesitation, jumped in. "It's the craziest story! Malfoy tried to steal Neville's Remembrall, and Harry chased him on his broom. He's a natural flier—you should've seen it! McGonagall was so impressed, she signed him up right then and there."

Jason let out a low whistle. "That's impressive, Harry. Guess we'll have to catch a Gryffindor game soon."

"Yeah," Simon said, his competitive streak showing. "You'd better watch out when Ravenclaw plays Gryffindor, though. We've got talent too, maybe nexy year we would play"

Harry laughed nervously, and the boys chatted a bit more before heading off to their next class.

The combined Ravenclaw and Gryffindor Charms class was abuzz with energy as Professor Flitwick greeted them cheerfully.

"Good morning, everyone! Today, we'll be doing something a your new patner know of . Ravenclaws, you've already learned Wingardium Leviosa, while Gryffindors have been practicing Lumos. Now, you'll partner up and teach each other what you've learned. This way, you'll revisit your own spells while helping your partners learn something new."

The students nodded, pairing off quickly.

Jason found himself with Harry, while Vik paired with Hermione and Ron ended up with Josh.

"Alright," Flitwick said, standing on his stack of books. "Watch closely as I demonstrate." With a graceful flick of his wand, he cast both spells in quick succession, the feather on his desk floating effortlessly before a bright light illuminated the tip of his wand. "Now, your turn!"

Jason, who had already practiced Lumos during his self-studies, cast it on his first try earning two points for ravenclaw. The tip of his wand glowed brightly, earning an impressed look from Harry.

"Guess there's no need for me," Harry joked, though he looked a little deflated.

Jason clapped him on the shoulder. "Don't sulk, Harry. Let's get you up to speed on Wingardium Leviosa. Start with the pronunciation"

Nearby, Hermione demonstrated both spells flawlessly, earning Gryffindor two points from Professor Flitwick. She beamed with pride, while Ron struggled to pronounce the levitation spell , josh try to help but was unable to .

"It's not 'Leviosar,' Ron," Hermione said, exasperated. "It's 'Leviosa.'"

Ron's face turned red as he glared at her. "I'll learn from Josh, Hermione. Thanks."

Hermione sighed, backing off and focusing on helping Vik instead.

After class, the Gryffindor boys group —Harry, Ron, Seamus, and Dean—walked toward their next lesson.

Ron, still irritated, began mimicking Hermione.

"'It's Leviosa, not Leviosar,'" he said in a high-pitched voice, laughing. "She's a nightmare, honestly. No wonder she hasn't got any friends."

The others laughed, but their mirth faltered when they saw Hermione rush past them, her face pale and hurt.

Harry looked at Ron, frowning. "I think she heard you."

Ron stopped walking, guilt flashing across his face. "I didn't mean for her to—"

Jason, walking nearby with his group, stepped forward. "We all heard you, mate. You weren't exactly subtle, dumbass ."

Ron's head snapped toward him. "take it back, Jason?"

Jason crossed his arms. "I mean you're being a dumbass. She was just trying to help, no matter how bossy she sounded. Say sorry to her later."

Ron's shoulders slumped. "Alright. I'll apologize."

Jason gave him a small nod, the tension easing. "Good. Now let's get to class before snape docks points for being late."
