The face I was seeing above me was just so cute. The boy was so handsome with ginger red hair.
I shook those admiration thoughts off, I should be really angry right now. And I was.
We were already in that position for about an hour now. It was starting to become really awkward now- You know, 'a boy' on top of you 'a girl' for more than a minute in the HALLWAY!
"Uhm you can get off me now," I muttered to him.
"Oh, yeah, right," he replied and got off me immediately. He stretched his hands towards me for I to take, to help me stand up, which I ignored and stood up on my own.
I crossed my arms across my bosoms, "Uhm well?" I started, expecting an apology.
"Hmm what?" He asked looking confused.
"Aren't you going to apologize? I asked confused and annoyed.
"Apologize?!" He scoffed.
"You were the one standing in the way," he continued.
"What?! I was walking.on my own.minding my business.in this hallway, when you MANIAC knocked me down and almost killed me." I emphasized on my every word.
"I told you to get out of the way," he replied cockily.
"When you were already two inches away from me. You know, you're in big shit if I tell the principal, because skateboards in the hallways aren't allowed." I scoffed at the end.
A grin hung on his fine lips as a moved closer to me. "So?" He said.
My brows creased. Whatever! Since when did I start knowing and caring about the rules of the school.
"You know what, just forget it!" I told, then I bent down to pick up my books.
I felt his hand on my shoulder before he bent down too to meet my height level.
"I'm sorry," I heard him say. It sounded sincere but I didn't care anymore.
"Buzz off!" I uttered and shoved his hands off me.
"Hey here, let me help you to pick up your stuffs," he tried to be helpful but I twisted his pinky.
"Ouch!" He yelped.
"Paws off!" I ordered and almost immediately, I stood up with my books and other stuffs and I was about to leave but he grabbed my hand.
"Hey wait up, the name's Wallson. You?" He asked.
"Non of your bizz jerkbag!" I responded and freed my hand from his grip.
He stopped pestering me as I walked away.
Great! First day of school and I just had to run into an annoying idiot, why did he have to be so cute?!
I'm so freaking late for maths class, so late that I'd have to search for my locker later. I just went straight to the class and opened the door slowly.
"Oh hello," greeted a man who was smiling goofily. He seems to be the teacher.
"Hi, uhm sorry I'm late," I apologized half-heartedly.
"No biggie. You're new, Athena, right?" He inquired.
"Yes, Athena Rydinger." I responded. I think I'm gonna like this maths teacher, he seems nice.
"Okay. Welcome to maths class, I'm your maths teacher- Mr. Larry. You can take your seat close to Brittany over there." He continued as he pointed to a particular chair that was close to a very beautiful girl with ocean blue eyes and jet black hair. She had an expectant look on her pretty face.
I walked over and sat down. None of us spoke to each other but I felt like she wanted to talk to me but didn't know how to start.
I kept my stuffs on my table and my backpack under my table, and that was when she finally spoke to me.
"Uhm Athena... Athena Rydinger, I'm Brittany Pauls." She introduced herself as she stretched out her hand for a handshake which I took.
"Nice to meet you Brittany," I told.
"Same here. I don't really have friends, it'd be great if we could get along and become one," she expressed.
She was just like me, I barely had or kept any friends.
"We'll see. I barely keep friends too, I'm... I'm not really good with people, I'm quite surprised that I'm being so nice to you." I replied. It was true.
"Saw what happened between you and Wally in the hallway, on the school's gist platform." She grinned.
Really? Perfect! Now I'm making headlines on the school's gist platform just on my first day. This wasn't what I wanted. I'd prefer to be invisible.
"That was just a weird misunderstanding." I chuckled and she joined me, as she laughed too.
"See, we're already conversing. It's a good start, we're already on our way to becoming really good friends." She pointed out, before she turned her attention to the teacher.
I'm starting to like her too.
