The familiar voice of a small child awakened Raul. "Rolly, Rolly."
Raul slowly opened his eyes and saw sunlight streaming into his cell through the small window above the wall. Soon after, Sorin's face was right above him when Raul opened his eyes.
"Wakey, wakeyy," Sorin exclaimed excitedly.
Raul furrowed his brow. "Why are you so excited in the morning?" Raul asked.
"Because it's a new day! Mom always said we should start the day enthusiastically," Sorin replied.
Meanwhile, Raul wished it were still night so he wouldn't have to wake up and work as a slave. Not long after, Ibrahim's henchmen came to the cell and opened the doors to all the cells, including Raul and Sorin's. Raul was still lying down when the cell door was opened.
"Get up if you want breakfast!" shouted Ibrahim's henchman.
Sorin jumped when the henchman yelled at him. Raul was already used to it; he sat on the bed.
