The next day, Starley woke up from her sleep when she heard the alarm ringing from her phone. She looked at the clock; it was only seven a.m. The night before, she had fallen asleep quickly as soon as her back hit the soft mattress.

Starley sat on the edge of her bed and removed her underwear. When she looked at her panties, there was not a drop of blood.
Starley blinked her eyes. Why hadn't her period come yet? She had never been late before. Starley held her breath. She couldn't possibly be pregnant, could she?
Starley trembled with nervousness and panic. She tried to take a deep breath. She had only been late for two days, which was still normal. Maybe her period would come in a few more days.
