The elders of the House of Night observed Leo, their eyes flickering with eerie lights as though they could gaze into one's soul. They examined every single detail of Leo with keen interest.
"ARGH!" one of the elders suddenly exclaimed, as blood streamed profusely from five apertures of his face. The attempt to inspect Leo's soul had led to this gruesome backlash, shocking the other elders.
Who were they? They were the seven grand elders of the House of Night, some of the most powerful beings humans had to offer. Yet one of their colleagues was suffering a backlash from trying to inspect the soul of a minor who had not even reached the beginner's level.
"How is this possible?" another elder exclaimed, his voice echoing with disbelief. The rest turned their gazes toward him as he approached Leo. With a swift motion, he tore off the ragged trousers Leo wore, revealing a birthmark on his lap. The shock among them was palpable. It was a insignia of the House of Night, a black obsidian crescent moon surrounded by seven twelve-pointed stars.
This birthmark was unique to those of pure blood from the House of Night—descendants of one of the founders, the Sovereign of Storms. Among the 637 first-made gods that survived the war, the House of Night was created by nine of these powerful individuals. So Naturally, the House of Night possessed nine lineages, and the Storm Sovereign was a being rumored to be the most powerful of the nine founders.
Now, seeing a random boy picked up by one of their members bearing this mark was shocking. That wasn't all. This young lad was also a progenitor. Humans had a total of 637 progenitors, and it seemed that now they had to add one more to the list.
Glancing at each other, the elders knew they had to uncover what was going on. The elder standing by Leo turned to the scarred man and said, "You've done a great job bringing him here, Nox. You will surely be rewarded for this. Take him to the medical facility and track his medical records from before the war until now. I want to know everything about this boy. Until we are sure of his identity, keep him unconscious."
Hearing the elder's words, Nox finally snapped out of his shock, his gaze fixed on Leo's birthmark. He quickly bowed and responded, "Subordinate understands."
With that, all seven elders vanished, leaving Nox alone with Leo. Looking at Leo, Nox murmured to himself, "Young one, you are filled with mysteries. I was lucky to encounter you." He picked up Leo and made his way to the medical lab.
The medical lab was hidden within the cyber castle of the House of Night, a fortress of both ancient and advanced technologies. On reaching the medication center, it was just as one could imagine. The walls of the lab, constructed from cold, blackened steel, were covered in intricate, gothic-inspired engravings and illuminated by flickering, neon-blue lights. High, arched ceilings loomed above, adorned with ancient, rusty cogs and wires that snaked across the entire lab, giving it an almost cathedral-like feel.
In the center of the lab, a long, metallic examination table rested atop a raised platform, surrounded by an array of advanced yet sinister-looking medical equipment. Monitors with distorted, green-hued displays emitted an eerie glow, casting unsettling shadows on the walls. The screens showed constantly scrolling data, biometric readings, and encrypted codes.
Glass cabinets lined with archaic medical tools and vials of mysterious, bioluminescent liquids stood against the walls. The air was thick with a metallic scent, mixed with an undertone of something chemical and unsettling.
Along one side of the lab, a bank of computers hummed softly, their screens filled with complex, neon-green schematics and cryptic messages. Cybernetic enhancements, suspended in glass cylinders filled with murky fluid, slowly rotated as if on display in a macabre museum.
At the far end, a large, gothic-style window, reinforced with a grid of steel bars, provided a view of the dystopian cityscape outside. Lightning arced across the sky, momentarily illuminating the stark contrast between the crumbling, gothic architecture of the castle and the pulsating, neon lights of the cyber world beyond.
Coming into view was a female doctor, her presence both imposing and enigmatic. Nox quickly approached her, laying Leo's body on the empty examination table. He explained the purpose of his visit.
She nodded quickly upon hearing that this was an order from the elders and got to work, attempting to take a blood sample from Leo. But something phenomenal happened. No matter how she tried, the blood refused to come out. She even attempted to cut him open, but his body refused to bleed. Seeing this strange phenomenon, Nox, impatient, took the blade from her and cut off a piece of Leo's flesh. He handed it to her, saying, "We don't have time. Just take this. I believe there should be enough for a sample inside."
The doctor nodded as she took the piece of flesh. She quickly inserted it into a cubical device. The device started flickering as it read all available records on the sample provided. After a few minutes of processing, the result lay before their eyes.
After a brief moment of silence, Nox asked in disbelief, "Could the machine be faulty?" Beside him, the doctor, with shock evident in her eyes, responded, "It is perfectly working. I just brought it back from maintenance."
They both fell silent once more, unable to believe what they were seeing. The only matching birth certificate for the sample the device was given was written boldly:

[author's note] before I continue I want to list the ranks of power in this world.
Beginner
Expert
Master
Grandmaster
Ancestor
Lord
King
Emperor
Soverings.
These are the currently known power levels, for humans currently. These power level's are dictated on ones mastery of his/her dimensional path.
And I want to clarify, each persons dimensional path is unique, two people might start up with the same path like for instance two people chose the spear as their path, as they progress, they will each come to different comprehensions of the path of the spear.
