Despite Jinx's constant distractions, Justin managed to find valuable information in the newspaper: a notice on the missing persons board—Caitlyn, Piltover's enforcer and the daughter of a councilor, was missing. "Missing…" Justin instinctively felt that the enforcer's disappearance was related to Vi, and the disappearance location was near the commercial street.

"How much is this thing?" Jinx had her eyes on a fruit skewer from a street vendor, which looked similar to candied hawthorns, and begged Justin to buy it for her. "A fair price, one gold coin," the vendor squinted, smiling as he set the price. That was exorbitantly expensive… Justin knew he was being scammed but hadn't expected it to be so outrageous. A gold coin in Runeterra would be enough for several hearty meals in the Undercity.

"One, please." Justin tossed over a gold coin. The vendor caught it hurriedly and bit into it, confirming it was real! "Generous customer!" The vendor thought anyone taking a girl shopping like this surely wouldn't haggle for the sake of face; indeed, a sitting duck! He quickly picked out the best fruit skewer for them, finalizing the transaction.

"Thank you." Justin smiled, showing no sign of being ripped off, because that gold coin was the very one he'd earlier slipped from the vendor's pocket—survival skills necessary in the Undercity. Before Viktor's glorious evolution, he was already known in Zaun as a skilled "pickpocket."

"Ugh! So sour!" Jinx pouted pitifully: "Justin, look! It's sweet on the outside, but sour inside! We've been tricked!" Justin glanced at it and said helplessly, "You're biting into a hawthorn. Of course, it's sour. The one below is a banana, definitely sweet." "Really?" Jinx bit off the hawthorn half, grimaced, and then handed the skewer to Justin, "You try this one!"

Justin chuckled, not particularly fond of overly sweet things... but the stick was practically poking his face, so he took a bite of the banana. Yes, certainly sweet. Jinx smiled too, as if she had tasted the banana herself.

"Please don't go any further!" An enforcer stopped them, "Sorry, there's construction ahead. Please take a detour!" "Oh." Justin nodded, leading Jinx aside. They exchanged a knowing look and saw the cunningness reflected in each other's smiles. What construction requires enforcers to guard the entrance?

"Looks like there's something fun ahead!" "Let's go check it out together."

Twitch led Caitlyn and her companions through twists and turns, up and down. Just when Vi was about to lose her patience thinking they were being misled, a sudden burst of light appeared ahead, so bright it made her dizzy.

"An exit?"

"We made it out!"

The two cheered, hugging each other tightly in excitement. At this moment, they completely overlooked each other's identities. Under certain circumstances, a cat and mouse became allies, supporting each other to soar like a pair of birds.

"The exit is here! Give me the gun!" Twitch screamed, leaping up and snatching Caitlyn's gun, then quickly disappeared into the sewer.

"Let it go." Vi, in a good mood, couldn't be bothered to chase after him. After all, she had promised.

"Mm." Caitlyn nodded, but there was a trace of regret in her eyes. The gun was a gift from her mother, symbolizing her mother's approval of her as an enforcer. It was a pity to have it snatched by a peculiar rat, but escaping alive was worth the trade.

"It's no big deal." Vi thought Caitlyn was only upset about the gun. "Powder's an expert with firearms. When we find her, I'll have her assemble a more powerful one for you."

"That won't work. Guns aren't allowed in prison." Caitlyn composed herself and raised her handcuffs. "You're under arrest, Vi. Surrender, and I'll get you the best lawyer."

"Oh? That's ruthless." Vi smirked, "Look outside; if I do nothing, can you find your way back to the upper city?"

"Oh, I forgot." Caitlyn stuck out her tongue. Normally, she'd never make such a cute gesture, but today was different. Maybe a part of her deep inside didn't want Vi apprehended?

"Once I find something to break these pesky handcuffs, we'll go our separate ways." Vi wasn't very good with idioms, and her expression was a bit awkward. She added, "After all, without a gun, you can't deal with me. Don't worry, once we get out, I'll make sure you get back to the upper city safely."

Caitlyn nodded, unsure what to say.

"I'm sorry! I messed things up again!" Jinx cried as she fled.

"It's fine, I'm used to it." Justin remained calm, even chewing on the bamboo skewer from the fruit stick they'd eaten earlier. After sneaking into the area blocked by enforcers, Jinx couldn't resist setting a timed bomb at a critical junction, which was then discovered by the enforcers, causing a premature detonation—literally blowing up the scene.

Fortunately, the enforcers were scattered enough that they could escape early, albeit at the cost of not uncovering the secrets there or finding out if it had anything to do with Vi.

"Oh no, we're in trouble." Not only were there enforcers behind them, but they were also surrounded ahead. Justin and Jinx found themselves in a narrow alley. Just as Justin knitted his brows and Jinx raised her gun, a hand appeared out of nowhere and grabbed Justin by the collar...
