By the time Justin realized it, he suddenly found himself in a room, separated from the alley outside by only a door. The enforcers who had been chasing him from both ends gathered at the door, but oddly, as they peeked up and down, looking left and right, they never noticed the door, as if they existed in another world. "Has your illusion magic grown this much?" Justin didn't need to turn his head to know who had just pulled him in. "It's not really illusion magic, just a simple trick."

"Who are you?" Jinx asked suspiciously, pointing a gun at the head of the person who had pulled them into the room without any politeness. "It's me, Isaac." Isaac reluctantly removed his sunglasses, revealing his iconic alluring eyes. "You really can't focus on anyone other than Justin, can you?" In fact, it wasn't Jinx's fault for not recognizing him. Isaac's disguise was even more complete than Jinx's school uniform. The fox mask on his face had been replaced by sunglasses. A baseball cap on his head, his previously flowing hair tied back into a ponytail, denim shorts and sneakers on the lower half, with only a white shirt on top that outlined an enticing figure.

"Where did you get those from?" Justin slapped him, surprised to find that the swell at Isaac's chest wasn't something stuffed but quite firm. Isaac chuckled, "It's my secret weapon. So, do you want a pair too?" "Useless flab..." Jinx pouted like a goldfish, irritatedly tugging at Isaac's fake chest. "Let go, let go! It really hurts!" Isaac quickly pleaded, "I'll write you a secret recipe for enhancement later! Just stop pulling!" Jinx finally let go, turning her head haughtily. "Hmph, I don't want it anyway!"

"Ahem, let's get back to business," Justin steered the conversation back on track. "What are you doing here?" Isaac looked at him worriedly. "Well, I knew that too much, uh, activity could affect memory, but I didn't think you'd forget this. Didn't you ask me to come to the upper city to gather... information?" Isaac knew Justin didn't want Jinx to find out about Vi's whereabouts. The two exchanged glances, mutually understanding to skip over her name.

"Did you find anything?" Justin asked. "Of course I did. You know about the disappearance of that councilor's daughter, Caitlyn, right? The female enforcer. She went missing while pursuing a criminal. According to other enforcers' investigations, she chased the suspect into the sewers and lost her direction there." "And was the criminal caught?" "No."

Justin was delighted. This meant Vi was likely in the lower city waiting to find them. However, it wasn't a certainty considering Vi's head wasn't the best and after being imprisoned for years, she might also get lost in the sewers.

Jinx looked at Justin and then at Isaac. Being left out of the conversation was really irritating! She punched Isaac in the chest out of frustration.

"Stop it..." Isaac was in no mood to play with Jinx. He said seriously, "It's just as well you both came along; it saves me a trip to find you. You guys take care of the rest; I need to head back to the shop. The old lady got hurt and needs someone to look after her."

"How? She's always holed up in her room. Did her voice get damaged from smoking too much? I always told her not to smoke those cheap brands. It's not like she can't afford better..."

"It was Silco's doing."

"That guy really wants to wipe us out?" Justin clenched his fists in secret. "Wasn't the brothel shut down? And still, he's not satisfied."

"The old lady refuses to hand over the deed."

"Ha." Justin already had killing intent in his heart, but with Jinx around, he couldn't show it. He pretended to be relaxed and said, "Well, there's nothing we can do for now. Let's keep a low profile these days. Once we deal with our own issues, we'll help out."

"Forget it; you're Silco's prime target."

"I'm pretty focused on him too."

Vi and Caitlyn had emerged from the sewers, but the environment before them was not much better. Twitch had brought them to a junkyard, being a rat, he was most familiar with the route here.

Piltover didn't really have any comprehensive waste disposal solutions. Garbage from the upper city was all brought to the lower city to be "processed," and what remained was piled up here, becoming a treasure trove for rats. Although every so often they'd resort to burning and burying to manage the waste, the amount of trash had grown much more than before Vi was imprisoned.

This was all thanks to Silco—and using the word "thanks" was not exactly sarcastic. Since becoming the "emperor" of the lower city, Silco had gathered the fragmented forces of the lower city and established numerous factories. These factories produced piles of industrial waste daily, which accumulated here. Implementing environmental protection in the lower city was quite unrealistic—Silco made the people of the lower city bear the brunt of industrial production's downsides without sharing its benefits with them. Although production increased several times compared to Vander's era, countless people became displaced and destitute because of him. Life in the lower city was tough, but people still at least had freedom. However, with Silco's arrival, even that little bit of freedom was gone. Either contribute everything and be exploited by Silco, or live like sewer rats, scavenging in the garbage heaps.
