Jay had already returned home and was communicating with Ares in his consciousness.
"Master, you need to enhance your strength and spiritual power because a Guardian Spirit's power is intrinsically tied to its master's. If a Divine Spirit wielder at the Initiated level were to face someone at the Peak of Breakthrough or Transcendent level, they would lose."
"It seems I need to go out and train. Since I've awakened my Guardian Spirit, I think it's time for me to see the outside world," Jay said, gazing at the city through his window.
"I agree, Master. You need to gain experience. I believe it won't be long before your name echoes across the world," Ares replied.
"Before that, there's something I'd like to give you," Ares added.
As soon as he finished speaking, a glowing light appeared in front of Jay. From the light emerged a weapon radiating an intense aura.
"This weapon is called the Blazing Heaven Halberd. Whenever you awaken another Guardian Spirit, you'll unlock a new skill or ability. Because you've awakened me, you can now use the first ability."
Hearing this, Jay quickly asked, "What's the skill?"
"It's called Thunderflash Curse. This skill significantly boosts your destructive power and strength, making it suitable for any combat scenario or defensive situation," Ares explained.
Jay immediately responded:
"Got it. So the remaining six guardian spirits think I'm not qualified yet, right?"
"Yes, Master," Ares replied. "
They don't believe you have what it takes to become their master. That's why you must work hard to improve yourself and gain their approval."
"Only when the guardian spirits recognize you as their master can you unlock greater power. And your strength directly impacts the strength of the guardian spirits. For example, an Entry-level Divine Martial Spirit facing a Peak Boundary or Transcendent-level Human Martial Spirit would still lose."
Jay nodded, feeling a surge of determination in his heart.
"Don't worry, I'll give it my all. In this chaotic world, there will definitely be a place for us."
Without dwelling on it further, Jay stepped outside.
Morning was the perfect time to set out. Slowly, Jay found himself at the entrance of Ghost Surge Street once again.
"This is where it begins!"
Jay walked in, noticing that the difference between day and night here was like night and day.
Stepping Into Ghost Surge Street
The morning mist shrouded the street, with faint light piercing through the towering ancient trees, casting mottled shadows onto the cobblestone path. Jay stepped into Ghost Surge Street.
With the Blazing Sky Halberd in hand, he cautiously scanned his surroundings. The air was thick with a chilling aura, as if countless unseen eyes were watching from the shadows.
"This place is as unusual as it was yesterday..." Jay murmured, feeling the flow of spiritual energy around him. He was prepared for a fight at any moment.
Suddenly, a ripple of spiritual energy surged toward him. Jay instinctively turned, spotting a figure slowly emerging from the mist. It was a girl clad in light armor, with a shimmering short sword hanging at her waist.
"Who are you?" Jay narrowed his eyes, raising the tip of his halberd slightly, his tone cold.
The girl halted, lifting her gaze to meet his. Her bright eyes exuded calm and vigilance.
"And who are you? Why are you here?"
"I'm just passing through," Jay replied cautiously, his eyes fixed on her. "But you don't seem ordinary either."
The girl smiled faintly. "My name is Xue Ying, from the Dawn Organization. This is my mission area. Who are you?"
Jay hesitated for a moment.
"I'm Jay, a wanderer," he answered, revealing little. He then countered, "Does the anomaly in Ghost Surge Street have anything to do with your mission?"
Xue Ying didn't seem fully convinced of his story and responded coolly, "I can sense your guardian spirit. It seems to be of a similar type to mine."
She turned her gaze toward the mist-covered street ahead. "Recently, there's been a surge in malevolent spirits here. I've been investigating an important lead, but I've already completed my task."
Jay was stunned. He hadn't expected that the girl before him also possessed a divine guardian spirit.
Jay looked at her, his tone steady but with a hint of suspicion. "A divine guardian spirit?"
Xue Ying nodded slowly and said, "Yes, and I also have a Spirit Warrior Physique."
"Spirit Warrior Physique..." Jay murmured, the words echoing in his mind as images of the seven doors from his dream resurfaced.
Xue Ying continued, her voice carrying a note of pride, "The Spirit Warrior Physique allows its possessor to hold more than one guardian spirit."
"What? Does that mean she has more than one divine guardian spirit, just like me?" Jay frowned, thinking it over.
"Exactly," Xue Ying said, slightly raising her chin. Her tone was calm but carried a trace of arrogance. "And not just that, of the five known Spirit Warrior Physique holders in the Spirit Realm, three are in my organization, including myself."
Jay thought for a moment, a hint of doubt flashing in his eyes. "You mean the Dawn Organization?"
Xue Ying smiled and nodded. "Yes. I should mention, I'm not just an ordinary member of the Dawn Organization. I'm its leader. The entire organization is under my command."
Xue Ying's gaze turned toward the distance, her tone solemn as she spoke: "The current forces in the Spirit Realm are divided into four factions: Domain Spirit City, the Kingdom Organization, the Ghost Wolf Camp, and the Dawn Organization that I lead."
She then turned back to Jay and continued,
"Domain Spirit City is the most traditional guardian force, maintaining the rules and order of the Spirit Realm, but they're currently facing some internal unrest. The Kingdom Organization is a powerful alliance driven by profit. The Ghost Wolf Camp is a force made up of relatively average but still formidable individuals. As for our Dawn Organization, we strive for neutrality, aiming to find the future of the Spirit Realm."
"The Spirit Realm has never lacked powerful individuals," she added, her voice growing more serious.
"In this chaotic era, reaching the top is incredibly difficult, and we never know when the hidden forces will show up."
Jay responded, his tone laced with a hint of curiosity, "Where are you headed next?"
She turned to leave, speaking softly, "You don't need to worry about that. Just focus on your own training. Goodbye."
Jay watched her figure fade into the mist, an indescribable feeling rising in his chest. He knew that Xue Ying's strength far surpassed his own, and her leadership of the Dawn Organization likely made it a formidable force. It seemed that the Spirit Warrior Physique had five known holders in the Spirit Realm, and with him, there were now six...
After Xue Ying left, Jay stood still, absorbing the lingering scent of her presence in the air. He snapped out of his trance, tightened his grip on the Burning Sky Spear, and his eyes blazed with an even fiercer fighting spirit. "Spirit Warrior Physique... Divine Guardian Spirit... So, my destiny has only just begun."
