Three months had passed, and Peter had still not gotten a response from the world system. Mike was busy with Asmodeos, or so the phoenix had told him.
Peter was one scream away from climbing a tree and then jumping off it. A tall tree. Maybe one of those baobab trees he had seen on National Geographic once.
"There is something strange happening, boss," the goblin, Gregor, said. "I think the bag is moving."
Peter blinked. Oh, so the slight earthquake like shaking of the bag was not something produced by a cat scratching at the bag.
"I will see who has taken the bag," Peter said, as he got out of it.
What he saw before him was a leg. He knew it was a leg because it had pants on it.
But the leg went on forever. Peter was sure that this person could find work as a model.
Then he looked up and took his words back.
Only a mother would love this thing.
