As things stood, Asmodeos decided that this was the worst day in his life. Not only because it had taken him all of his savings to get treated at the hospital, but because he was hungry.
Peter had left to search for the giant boar, armed with a can of rat spray. Asmodeos did not care if this time it was the real deal, but what he hoped for was that the boar would not eat Peter.
And so, here Asmodeos was. With his old library card, armed to the teeth in regret.
He knew that such things, making someone into a mutant, was not something that ended well.
And yet, Peter had to get stronger. He had to be able to see pass the pranks the natives played on him.
He was not dumb, Asmodeos decided. But stuff like: if the gnomes jump off a bridge, will you follow them? Normally got followed by the wrong answer.
Asmodeos wanted for Peter to finally get his instinct of self-preservation in gear.
