Peter, Asmodeos and Blue were standing before a puzzle. Peter thought that the puzzle was very straightforward. He had to just put some eyes back into the eye sockets of the mosaic.
The problem with that was that the mosaic was actually very high up. And so, Peter decided to let Blue earn his keep.
Peter took out two mana stones and handed them to the water dragon.
"Come now, Blue, fly up and place the stones!" Peter was pretty much certain that Blue was going to do as asked. After all, Blue was not simply a water dragon.
He had been a slime once, a creation which Peter had fashioned with his own two hands.
But Blue refused to fly this time.
"Don't you see the barrier?" Blue asked.
Peter looked up, and indeed there was an orange barrier up over him. He looked at the two mana stones he had in his hands and then back at the dragon.
If he couldn't get the mountain to come to him, then of course he had to go to the mountain!
