"Alaric, thank you," Peter said as he placed another shifter gnome inside the bottomless bag. "How did you talk them into coming here?"
It had been the art of negotiation that had helped Alaric do so. But seeing as he wanted to appear a bit more knowledgeable about such things than he was, he simply smiled and did a small bow.
Peter chuckled as he picked another shifter gnome, who was currently in the form of a tiny squirrel.
"They won't get in trouble anymore, will they?" Nick asked.
For him, the only important thing was that the shifter gnomes would finally go out of prison.
He had liked the news that Andre and Bill had started their own mini-farm and not only started one but already had a full harvest. Oh, if only all the shifted gnomes were like that...
"And we'll get to peep on the orcs, won't we?" A shifted gnome asked. Peter sighed, rubbed his forehead, and then leveled Alaric with a glare.
